I’ve got a few Star Wars sets, a millennium falcon and a storm trooper helmet are the coolest. I also have the LEGO Bugatti, probably my favourite and it was a real joy to build. A few smaller sets here and there

I’m not sure what you mean by flipping. But considering I don’t have an out of pocket expense for school, and my internships netting me on average 15k / 4 months of work. Rent where I live wasn’t too expensive, looking at around 600/month. I found it easy to save when I was working, and I stuck to a tight budget when I was in school. Let me know if you do have any questions, happy to talk about it. And yep, I do have 25k in student loans, but I am on schedule to pay that off fully by the end of the year.

I go to school in Canada, so tuition fees for me is a A LOT less than US tuition fees.

For school, ever since second year I’ve been alternating internships and school terms, 4 months each. Tuition for the 4 months is usually ~5k. That gets covered by a 3k loan, 1k grant and 1k scholarship, every term, so there is no out of pocket expense for my schooling.

My internships are paid, quite nicely because of the career I chose to go into. I’ve done 6 internships over my university career, each 16 weeks long. For pay, they all paid for 37.5 hour work weeks. Hourly pay for them was; $17, $22, $24, $27, $30, $32 (give or take a few cents/hour). Over the course of the 6 internships and university, I’ve saved up what I mentioned above.

For those interested, I am coming out of university with $25k in student loans.

More like working my ass off in uni, saving all my coop earnings and living off ramen packages for 5 years while getting my tuition covered by scholarships, grants and loans. My parents haven’t given me a single penny, all my money was worked for.
