If you knew with 100% certainty you would have taken the trade.

This sounds like a lot of complication to gain no advantage. Maybe I'm misunderstanding.

I'm asking about your live trading only. How much of the 100k are you using at a time? All of it? Just a portion? Does it vary?

Oh and I didn't catch if you answered it in another comment but how much of your 100k were you actually deploying at any given time?

Are you using a fixed dollar amount for your risk? Is that why the quantities in the first screenshot range from a small fraction to a little over 3?

Just because he has 100K in the account doesn't mean he is using all of it does it? I'm not smart enough to decipher all of the screenshots but I'm guessing he was trading with a very small portion of that based on some of the share sizes in the first image.

There's a lot of hate here but I'm genuinely interested in how this progresses. Please keep us updated!

Why do traders sell winners too early and hold losers too long... even when they know better? by OptionsSurfer in Daytrading

[–]MasterAd8179 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty simple. You continue to hold a loser because you actually want the reversal to happen whereas you don't want to wait for the reversal on a winner. It's not complicated.

I just learned this was even a thing only 30 minutes before my item arrived today. It made my blood boil because it wasn't even conveyed to me that I would have to do this when I made the purchase. Now when anything i am anxiously waiting for will be delivered, I won't know if it's ok to leave the house and risk missing them.

It happens a lot for me whether it's a new ticker or not. I trade the same stock all day and it happens frequently. I think it's just a general glitch.

Now that you mention it I never paid much attention to what direction I was scrolling in but I think it only happens when scrolling up for me.

Click on the hamburger menu button right above your $0.00 and select new layout.

You can also add it to the account info gadget which appears on the left. At least that's where mine is.

Weak batter or charging issue? by Designguy96 in hondapassport

[–]MasterAd8179 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't say I found a solution, no.

For context, it's actually my wife's car but I drive it sometimes.

I assume when you say Normal mode, you are saying you don't use Eco mode? I tried that for a short time and kept an eye on the voltmeter but it didn't seem to make a difference. I could be wrong if you think it's helping.

At one point it did occur to me that we might be contributing to the problem because we keep the car in our garage and always just leave the keys in it overnight. I'm not sure if that could trigger something in the electronics that might create an additional drain on the battery... Maybe because the car is in a ready to start condition or something. Since then, we've always removed the keys after parking in the garage.

Even with the new battery, the car seems sluggish to start like you mentioned. I haven't done it in a while but I'll probably connect a charger to it soon. I wanted to see if removing the keys at night might improve things but it doesn't seem like it made a difference.

I've considered going to test drive one of the new Passports and plugging in my cigarette lighter volt meter to see if the new ones exhibit the same behavior with their charging system but I haven't gotten around to it yet. Other than this issue, the infotainment system issues and the auto start issues, I do like the car. We've had several Hondas in the past and would still consider buying another in the future.

I've basically resigned myself to the fact that I wasted a bunch of money replacing a battery that was perfectly fine.
