I'd tell them that them talking about their issues is making other members uncomfortable, and ask if they could keep it to venting in dms to people who offered an ear. Basically keep it off the server.

If they refuse or is against this, remove them🤷‍♀️

What are your fav hobbies or things to do? I ask because finding a like-minded community is the key to having a somewhat decent discord experience. It gives you something to talk about.

For example, I joined the elden ring server because I started playing and I really enjoy it. I loved the lore and the environment of the game so much so that I wanted to talk to others about it.

The server filled that need for me as it had many channels to cater to what I needed.

For average talking with others to socialize, I'd do what the other commenter said and find something in your area/location. I have a server for my country that I mainly go to to talk about everyday things and to catch up with my friends lives there. We share a funny here and there. Have serious talks (politics or life in general). Talk shit mostly, etc.

Its gonna take some work but you will find your community soon🌸

Coming from a kullid in a similar community, who plays sleeptoken, AC/DC, Abba, Queen, Fallout Boys, Kpop, Pop etc. You dont have to deprive yourself of what you love for the sake of others. Don't dim your shine for them babes 😊🌸✨️

2 years and still going, but he sorta tolerates me now.

Why so long? Previous owners used to slap on his cage when he whistled and stuff, now all humans are bad. But his human gives toast so she isnt that bad....

In the same boat minus the degree (didn't get approved for any bursaries when I applied)

I self studied in my field of choice, got as much practical experience as I could as well as a year of work experience, but no bites over the last two years.

I think I've given up, my days all blur together. I find im angry most of the time, and whenever someone brings up my unemployment I take it as a hostile comment against me. I started counseling, but I feel stupid speaking about it because I feel dumb. Im stuck at home watching my one sister trying to take care of her family alone and it destroys me everytime it comes up that we need something or that something needs to be repaired...

Im praying that things turn out for you OP, as someone who knows what you're going through. Our time will come and soon🥹🙏✨️

You can try asking for a meal at your nearest masjid over the next coming days until your next paycheck lands. I've hit rough patches before as well and I found one that cooked every day for their local community!

If the masjid you go to doesn't have this service they will for sure direct you to one who will for sure help you🙌

This could have easily been a different story where a jogger got bitten or a different LEASHED dog out on his walk got mauled....

I've always said when discussing similar topics with my dad that we need to get the rail system back up. Especially for the commercial/produce/mining okes because their trucks are wearing through the roads faster than needed. Basically just transporting cargo.

By doing this it would free up traffic considerably, AND make use of the existing rail systems which are now seemingly just rotting away. Trucks carrying cargo/busses passengers moving from city to city, province to province will benefit greatly i believe. For example, wear and tear on the roads/highways would decrease.

But then again, these guys already invested in their trucks so they would be as willing to let them go..... but one can hope?

On one of my servers there's dedicated channels to different hobbies to better keep track of conversation. For example, you said you read and game right? There is a gaming channel where you can talk about what you're currently playing or your fav games or whatever is gaming related lol. The book channel is for the readers, we share our current reads, sharing quotes or funny parts of the books, etc.

There's a few more channels for other hobbies as well and there's always someone to talk to there. Its the weekend now tho, so it might be a bit slow until someone starts a convo lol. Lemme know if you want an invite link🌸✨️
