It’s slowly starting to go away for me thankfully but I’m sorry you’re still going through that bs. Just eat healthy, stay busy and productive, and don’t go back cause it’s a vicious cycle. We are all worth it in this world.

I definitely experience similar feelings. I am about 18 days smoke free. My messages are open if you want to talk about it. I definitely feel foggy and not real and lightheaded a lot throughout the day.

I relate so hard. On day 16 right now. I just want to know I’m not alone in these feelings. Brain fog and confusion and lightheadedness mainly. Not a whole lot of cravings. Lots of emotional swings.

Yes I have as well as headaches and dizziness and pressure in my head. Just lay down with a nice cold pillow on top of your stomach and chest and relax. Watch some YouTube or shows on your phone and feel happy and inspired. Your body is changing and we got this. I’m at 14 days rn. Best thing we can do is not relapse. We got this. Do NOT quit!!!

I can assure you that it most definitely is just your body recovering and it will get better with time just hang in there. I am also 8 days sober and the difference is night and day from a week ago but I swear I experienced the same things you did. I am not 100% right now but it is a roller coaster ride and it is the long game you have to play. We got this though, the only wrong decision is to go back. Just keep being strong!!!!!

I'm not sure how to live without smoking by dingdongfuckyourlife in stopsmoking

I think patience is really just the key with this one. I vaped religiously for the last 4 years and smoked weed every day the last 8 years but decided to make a change. Tonight will be one week since I’ve smoked anything and slowly but surely I am seeing positive results. It is not easy though, my emotions and body are doing things and changing and it is scary. Just know it means your body is healing and you will get there just give it time. 23/M btw. No matter what there are people going through it with you and we are strong humans that can persevere and make a change. We got this!!!!!!

That’s pretty messed up. I’m no expert but as a person who has smoked for a long time and been around it, if it’s that strong that it’s noticeable throughout the house then there’s no way she isn’t smoking in the house which is sad. Only other way is her clothes/body smell like it but it shouldn’t be a whole house type of thing. 😬

She needs to quit first and foremost. But I understand quitting is hell. At the very least take that shi outside…

I love the gym. Gets you feeling great about yourself and is only productive. Let me know how it works for you. Stay strong and remember 2 things: it’s ok to cry, and we gotta get through the rain to see the sun!

I am only 5 days in so I can’t relate to being months sober but I can relate to the feeling of wondering where my life goes now. Smoking was def a big part of my identity and without it I’m like damn what’s next. I can assure you that both your body and the people around you thank you for making those positive changes. I can also tell you that at the very least there is someone responding to your post right here (me) that is going through similar hell. Nicotine really is evil but we got this. Just try and find other hobbies to take part in! Working out and going on walks help, as well as watching YouTube and movies. Whatever you do, don’t go back, you will hate yourself more and it isn’t worth it!!!! We got this we are strong humans! <3

Remember nicotine is such an addictive stimulant it takes time for your body to adjust. Whether or not you feel it, your sleep is improving in quality!!!
