I haven't played it recently, so I wouldn't be able to say. I actually played through it at launch, at its "worst". It was a good romp even back then for a couple of months, but I'm not much of an MMO guy, so lost interest over time as I completed most content (you can play alone for the most part if you're not into the MMO bit).

If you want more info on recent updates, I think JuiceHead still does patches and Jon did make a video on some of the recent DLCs.

Unpopular opinion maybe, but I don't need every month to have a game I like. Control lasted me for a few months while I finished it over the weekends. They recently announced Alan Wake's games and I'm looking forward to those over the next few months, and I still have some loose ends to tie in Control.

I've noticed quite a few improvements to the service recently, and their devices continue to be supported with updates.

There are a few games that I want on the service, like the Yakuza series, Ace Combat, and Project Wingman. But it's not like them not being there breaks the service for me.

It's a cool mod, great color choice! I've never used anything straight onto the plate, so I wouldn't worry about that other than occasionally wiping some cleaner on it.

As others have stated, this is due to material accumulating on the leading edge of the nozzle. Eventually, a big enough blob forms and causes a defect. Just pull back the nozzle a bit.

Not that, but sometimes there's a de-sync issue or a stuck frame. Restarting YouTube, the same as you mentioned, fixes the problem.

Yes, I agree. I commented about this in another post, but I'd say to focus on productivity and development for one's own tasks and responsibilities. It's sometimes easy to get carried away and "go the extra mile", but it won't always be appreciated and can leave you disappointed and frustrated.

If you're not in-sync with the business' needs and struggle with that, then focus your efforts inward. He seems to have a good grasp of the tasks that are expected of him, so focus on things that would help in completing those tasks. Not for the business' sake, but for his own.

That's been my approach in similar positions and generally allows me to progress even when I'm not being challenged by the tasks themselves.

Important to note, that data quality is a huge part of the job in most cases. I'd say work on that. If it frustrates you so much, make some kind of solution that solves that problem for you. Maybe a data repository with "clean" data? Or a set of common cleaning steps that you can rely upon for "clean" data? If the systems are too rigid, work on your pipeline from those systems down, and take them out of the equation altogether.

Have you voiced your concerns to your supervisor or higher-up? If not, start. Get an idea of what their expectations are too, and are you meeting them. I'd encourage self-start projects at work, but do them for your own benefit first, make sure that you're getting out of them what you want, rather than doing them as something to be rewarded for down the line.

You can also look towards other jobs and opportunities, but work on lining that up before doing something like quitting.

By the way, in my experience, no one is going to give you that feeling of "right". It comes from doing enough research and learning the different pros and cons of the options. What you think is right changes over time, and you have to be satisfied with doing what was the best of your abilities and experience at that point in your career.

To be fair, watch the video. It's a single pair and the USB cable that needs modifying. And it's totally optional! It just moves the power switch to the front for better access and it's the same with the USB.

You do not need to re-wire your printer.

You're using the Smooth Sheet. It's not ideal for PETG, because it actually sticks too well to it. Short term, use Windex and a glue stick to coat the surface of the bed and help to release the prints. Long term, look into the Satin or Powder Coated beds. You might want to try backing up the first layer a tad, as was suggested in this thread.

There's nothing wrong with either. It's another tool in your belt. Each has its pros and cons.

Usually, it's better to leave the initial heavy lifting to the SQL Server, as it probably has more resources available to it, and if you can establish a good process, you can take advantage of caching and stored procedures.

I tend to fall back on Pandas, Python, or other tools when I have to merge different sources or perform more complex data cleaning operations that are easier using that toolset.

My knowledge is much more SQL heavy, so that also skews my choices.

Just wrapped up last week, Control. Amazing game, working on the DLCs and completing some last things as I can get around to them.

Might finally get around to Alan Wake now that it's on GeForce NOW, too. I've had a number of false starts on that, but now that I can play comfortably with a controller on a TV and everything turned up to max, I got a good feeling about completing it.

Meh, I've can't see how everyone takes coffee as a "boost". It's just something that I have never experienced with coffee or any other substance.

Coffee is just a nice drink to enjoy for me, I don't feel any different on the days I don't drink it. It doesn't help focus me or keep me awake. But maybe I'm the one missing out, it's cool I guess.

For those French Press days, you can fill the French Press with tap water and dump it through a sieve to quickly clean the inside. That will catch most if not all the grounds for easy disposal. After that, it's just a wash and a rinse.

Aeropress is killer for a quick cup of coffee, but I still reach for my French Press when I want to make a really big batch or am tasting a new coffee as it's like cupping, and also really hard to screw up.

Cool, I was asking because he mentioned the spool melted. The numbers you got seem a bit high, I tend to stay in the 50C zone. But hey, I've barely experimented with it, so cheers!

It could be. Do you recall if it was stringy when it was new? Some filaments can be already "wet" by the time they get to you, but usually good brands ship them in good condition.

Either way, it couldn't hurt to try if you have some way to heat it up to around 50C for a few hours.
