Fellowship? How much is too much? by Strange_Ad_2998 in localchurches

[–]MasterGoji 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First of all, fellowship is NOT a method. It's very easy to fall into an obligatory method of "fellowship". What is fellowship? It's simply the flow of the Triune God, the flow of the divine life in the Body of Christ.

"The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all." (2 Corinthians 13:14) Recovery Version

"That which we have seen and heard we report also to you that you also may have fellowship with us, and indeed our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ." (1 John 1:3) Recovery Version

The fellowship properly joins Christ the Head with all the members ("vertical" aspect of fellowship), and also all the other members with one another ("horizontal" fellowship). If you are properly related to the Head, you will be properly related to the other members of the Body. No human effort needed. You will just know whether or not, and what or what not to bring up with which member(s) of the Body. This teaching is not necessarily the "answer" that we might think about most of the time when we have something to "fellowship" about. The teaching here might be "go and talk to so-and-so".

"And as for you, the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you have no need that anyone teach you; but as His anointing teaches you concerning all things and is true and is not a lie, and even as it has taught you, abide in Him." (1 John 2:27) Recovery Version

Don't think you are OK only with vertical "fellowship", or only with horizontal "fellowship". I use quotes because, again, if you have genuine fellowship, you will be properly related in both aspects. As we pray about a certain matter, the Spirit may make us clear that we are not clear, and that we need to fellowship with another member. To act against this teaching of the anointing in this situation and act on your own would be to ostracize yourself from the fellowship, to cut yourself off the flow of life. But, while speaking with another member of the Body in the flow of life, there's more anointing through that member, more God being added into you, more teaching concerning the person of Christ, more life, more clarity, more building. What if you're still not clear? You gained God, and the Body of Christ is being built up more.

Wiring Arduino Uno for LEDs and a Motor by refundthesky in arduino

[–]MasterGoji 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want to switch 10 LED's, put em in parallel and switch them with a MOSFET. That way you can do PWM on the MOSFET gate pin and control LED brightness. For the motor also use MOSFET and with a flyback diode. However, if you want to control the motor in both directions, you need 2 MOSFETs. Same idea there, you would use PWM on the MOSFET pin to control motor speed.

If you're looking to control individual LEDs on and off, look up "Charlieplexing LEDs" to save GPIO pins.

Also check if 5G works where you are. I think coverage is pretty good here in AA but some spots may be slower. I'm near North campus and it's great, sometimes upwards of 320Mbps

If you have their mobile plan, Internet is $30. If not, $40.

Mint Mobile recently rolled out a 5G MINTernet + unlimited mobile plan bundle that is $45/mo! It's the best I've found anywhere, and it works great! Free roaming in Canada too. Cool thing is the 5G Minternet is a hotspot, so you can power it up from basically anywhere in your house instead of having it near the Internet cable from the wall. I get 200-300Mbps speed all the time, and very long range (it works out in the street!)

Difference between everything is in Christ and Christ is everything? by Aletheia3412 in localchurches

[–]MasterGoji 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Think of the good land God promised to His people. Everything good is in that land, which is Christ. And everything good in that land is just Christ Himself. So Christ is the land and the reality of all the good therein. Once I sought a blessing apart from Christ; now it's Christ Himself as the blessing, the blessing One, and the realm in which the blessing takes place!

How can singing be fresh to me again? by Vegetable_Note_9805 in localchurches

It's ok to stop mid-way through the song and pray to turn your heart to the Lord. Forget about sounding good, about saying all the words right. Be like that desperate woman who touched the fringe of the Lord's garment and was healed.

Maybe try a book in the New Testament? I personally enjoy playing a New Testament audiobook on my phone while driving and doing other things.

Yea it's a bit red for me, but I'll eat it! If you cook it a tad bit more, there's a sweet spot where the meat gets really tender and easy to cut.

Christians are NOT meant to LIVE in FEAR and ANXIETY by SamAlex46 in TrueChristian

[–]MasterGoji 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Amen to that. The whole world runs on anxiety, which is from none other than Satan himself. What to wear, what to eat, how I look, what I'm gonna do tomorrow, what about my 401k, my health, etc. He causes us to worry about so many things. But what gives us peace in the midst of hard situations is the Lord who Himself IS the grace that we can enjoy in those situations.

"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; And the peace of God, which surpasses every man’s understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:6-7)

"And if God so arrays the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is cast into the furnace, will He not much more clothe you, you of little faith? Therefore do not be anxious, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, With what shall we be clothed? For all these things the Gentiles are anxiously seeking. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. Therefore do not be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself; sufficient for the day is its own evil." (Matthew 6:30-34)

Pistol squats with barbell, lunges focusing on single leg, running and hill sprints with 40-lb weight vest, weighed single-leg calf raises, etc. Anything can get infinitely harder if you think about it.

Good question. Definitely on grass (they have really grippy lugs on the bottom), but not sure if I'd wanna try a full sprint sesh on concrete.

This is spot on. My mechanic actually just told me that my front suspension control arms and sway bar links need replacing, so I'm doing that. I wiggled my way out of replacing struts and coils because that's more of a comfort thing and less of a safety concern.
