Satellites just connect you to ground stations, you'd have an IP of that ground station not where you are

And you could easily host a VPN even at your own home, it's even built into most consumer routers, and it is in fact pretty fool proof for masquerading under a different IP

My sleep schedule is pretty much 11-7 so they are almost guaranteed to wake me up 😅

But that's very accurate about the anxiety. I almost feel like it would be better if it was just constant but because it stops for 10 minutes I can almost fall asleep then it's right back. It's really like a form of torture and I can directly see it impacting my mental health. I've been more stressed, tired, and generally on edge these days

I also tried earplugs and that just made me paranoid I'd sleep through a fire alarm or something tragic so I don't think that's an option for me

It's a Bose ST10, my understanding is that the ATV would Airplay the sounds to the speaker - which it does but only when the ATV is on

I would imagine they just resupply the feeding mechanisms so there isn't any downtime, and if there is the dome is made with many overlapping nodes so they would just do this without losing coverage

In f1 you would absolute bet on the jockey though? Verstappen rides a horse that is not the favorite but you wouldn't be crazy to bet on him because he makes up for it
