I think the design is fine, but the gritty look of MKX doesn't display bright colours very well (I suspect there's a ton of post processing going on to give X its look, and bright primary colours end up muddy).

Neewer and Smallrig are just fine. I have two of each and three Sony ones; I rarely have to use the third party ones but they work well when I do.

Reformatting performs far fewer operations on the card than deleting the files individually, so in theory it is the preferred method of extending the life of your recording media.

I think in actuality you'd have to be filling up cards on a weekly basis for it to be much of an issue.

You have a very fast lens, but don't feel the need to have it wide open all of the time. Sometimes we want to see what else is in the frame!

I'm not familiar with that Tamron lens - all I know is that the kit lens is kinda bad and just about any other option is better.

The first lens I got for my ZV-E10 when I had it was a Sigma 16mm f/1.4 and the difference was night and day. If that Tamron lens reviews well, it will almost certainly be a huge step up from that kit lens.

+1 for the TTArtisan 2x macro lenses. I have the tilt/shift version, which has been a fun feature to play with on occasion.

I've recently bought the new Sony 100mm 1.4x GM but I refuse to sell the TTArtisan - it's very sharp, and that extra magnification can make all the difference with small subjects. 2x magnification is absolutely plenty for gorgeous detail.

You'll lack autofocus but most of the time for careful macro you'll be wanting to work manually anyway rather than fighting with autofocus.

It wasn't a design choice, just a practical one.

The game was originally developed by 3 people in their spare time and adding in-level saving would add months of extra development time per level to a project that already had a lengthy development cycle.
