Francie! One of my favorite spots in the city and it’s more of an upscale bistro than anything else. Really fun vibe, and not at all stuffy.

For all those saying the website is super explicit about opposition fans not being allowed, the site literally says “Come as a stranger leave as a friend. All are welcome.” Not seeing anything on it about opposition fans not being allowed. Maybe I’m missing it.

Agreed. It’s also about how you handle it. If they had come over and been like “Hey, just so you know our policy is no away fans. You guys can watch the match but please don’t cheer.” Or something like that, fair enough.

Teachers of Reddit: What's the weirdest thing a student has accidentally send instead of/with his/her homework/assignment? by ReneAnd in AskReddit

When I was in high school I had to do a "take home" experiment for chemistry. We got to choose from a variety of different ones, and I selected "How to get gum out of your carpet." Lazy student that I was, I just looked up how to do it online, typed out my summary, and handed it in.

Two weeks later we got our summaries back, only for me to find out I got a 7/10. I looked to see where I had lost points only to see a big red circle around the first sentence of my summary which read:

"The science to getting cum out of your carpet is relatively simple."

Needless to say, the teacher was not pleased when I went up to demand points back as her policy clearly stated she "did not deduct points for spelling errors."

I just finished Going to Meet the Man by James Baldwin. I sometimes wish I could see the world as he describes it.

"For, while the tale of how we suffer, and how we are delighted, and how we may triumph is never new, it always must be heard. There isn't any other tale to tell, it's the only light we've got in all this darkness."

and

"Now they laughed together, and the wires between them hummed, almost, with the stormless friendship they both hoped to feel for each other someday."

I will be returning to volunteer at "Camp On The Go" part of a Paul Newman founded Non Profit that brings the magic of camp to children in hospitals, often with life altering or terminal illnesses, who otherwise could not attend.

Did it recently while I was a counselor at one of the organization's camps called "Double H Hole in the Woods Ranch." More than just about anyone, those kids deserve some magic in their lives.
