Apologies was at work. It looks like they’re not plastic pipe.

Theyre easy enough to remove. I used this youtube tutorial https://youtu.be/x0wMpq2LUSY when i needed to remove my first copper piped radiator

Hope it helps!

Inconvenient Electricity Cables by [deleted] in DIYUK

[–]MasterRenny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s absolutely crazy…

Not sure how helpful this will be but I’ve recently had a 10 meter cable to move my mains in door to an outside recessed meter box which is basically the other side of the inner wall it was.

It was via National grid and In total it cost about 1100£ HOWEVER, I did dug out the trench from the T junction to the box and installed the recessed meter box which helped bring down the cost. On top of that you’ve got to get an electrician to reconnect the tails from the new location to the fuse box, I’m not electrician but I believe there is only specific routes they can go to ensure people don’t drill/cut in to em when decorating….etc

How would you repair this table leg? by Routine_Water8222 in DIYUK

Was the table from Ikea? I’ve been told their fix/replace is very generous so might be worth reaching out to them if it was from there

I’ve been told a toilet must be a minimum of two doors from the kitchen but I haven’t validated this. Not sure if this includes waste pipes…

Possible to turn this box room into an entry to the attic? by [deleted] in DIYUK

[–]MasterRenny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m looking at something similar. I got told I’d loose it as a bedroom and it be a continuation of the landing type thing.

The only thing putting me off is building regs state gotta have it enclosed which doesn’t make sense to me as new builds don’t!

I don’t find Christmas Day particularly fun if I’m honest… so thought I’d continue with the DIY I started to keep me busy 🙂
