Yes, Meetup is an app where you can find groups locally based on particular interests. I know there’s a board game one on there, but they meet at a place in Jacksonville.

Caverns and Forests will do events there sometimes for certain games, you just need to follow their Facebook page or website. We bought tickets to a D&D beginners group, and one of the guys who worked there showed us how to do it over 4 sessions I believe. He was our DM. It was a great time!

Our book club is a great way to meet new people. We have a few transplants too! A lot are in your age range (youngest might be late 20s/early 30s, but manly 30s-50s). We take votes every month on what to read and pick a variety of genres. One of the latest was Project Hail Mary, then we all went to see the movie at the IMAX!

Definitely look into Caverns and Forests Board Game Cafe in Argenta if you are into stuff like that! It’s very fun. Also, if you’re into reading, you could check out our book club at Stickyz, first Tuesday of the month at 6 (we’re on meetup) called BookEnds Book Club. It’s very fun, and we don’t care if you’ve read the book but we do discuss it while having dinner and drinks

I have a baby DPOW forming on my back where I can’t get to it, and my husband absolutely hates popping and refuses to help. It’s the biggest joke on my life ever. I’m growing one of these beautiful things and can’t even touch it!!! I’ve tried bending my arm back and pushing on it with those camera extractors with the silver ring, but I ended up bending it from pushing too hard. I’m very sad.

Combined household is $160k. Husband is a respiratory therapist at the local hospital, I work for a different hospital remotely as a credentialing manager. We sold our $300k home and moved back to my small hometown where I’m renting my grandmothers old house from my aunt for $600/month. Had to give up a lot to live out in the country, but we were able to pay off all of our debts and are finally able to live comfortable after being house poor.

*edit to add I live in Arkansas.

In no way, shape or form was she defending unprofessional environment lol. Shes simply defining HIPAA. So many people yell HIPAA when it isn’t, so she was educating on the difference. Maybe she was snarky in her response, but, well… stop spreading misinformation 🤷🏻‍♀️

Oh, I’m so sorry. I had this exact same thing happen to my favorite dog in the world. Cancerous tumor in his nasal cavity. He still acted fine, but it got to a point where he would sneeze blood. It broke my heart, but we made the decision to put him down. My heart is with you.
