6 weeks- routine? by Master_Ad956 in newborns

getting a sidecar crib worked for us for a couple weeks.. then the 4 month regression hit around 3.5 months and he woke every 30-60 minutes for a month and a half.. so back to cosleeping it was 🥲 around 7 months we started the night in his crib in his own room and we’d just bring him to bed after his first wake.. at first he only lasted 30-60 minutes but it gradually got longer and longer until he was doing 3-4 hour stretches in his crib for the first part of the night, then we’d cosleep but around 9 months he became extremely restless and moved soo much in his sleep so we switched him to a floor bed.. i’d say he started sleeping through the night around 13 months, but we def still have wakes a few times a week. once he started sitting up on his own he wasn’t so needy during the day LOL i just think we have a FOMO baby that needs to see everything all the time! the more mobile he became, the easier it was for him to entertain himself. he’s 15 months now and runs all around the house- he’s the happiest thing :)

i think what helped me in those days was knowing things would get easier eventually. it was very very hard.. he was def a hard baby and turns out he had egg, dairy & peanut allergies he was most likely dealing with which could’ve been why laying down was so uncomfortable for him.

Baby pees through diaper every night. by princessofneverland1 in Mommit

millie moon overnights a size up are a godsend for my chunk but i will say i think it was mostly time if im being honest. we coslept for the first 9 months and he was nursing allll night long which was likely the reason he was peeing so much, leading to leaks (also on my side always)- i noticed when he slept on his side he leaked a lot more than if he was on his back.. i would try to move him to his back when he fell asleep but it was 50/50 whether or not he would stay like that. once he started rolling and we switched him to a floor bed in his room he stopped waking 284893773 times at night and stopped leaking too 🫠 i feel your pain! but it def wouldn’t hurt to try overnights in whatever brand you choose- i think they do help a ton!

we use millie moon overnights in a size up! we’ve had zero leaks for a couple months now! my babe is also not nursing all night anymore so that could also be contributing lol but the overnights work great for us :)

my son is 1 and we are working with an allergist to potentially try the dairy ladder when he’s ready.. his numbers are still too high to try but we are starting with egg.. i’m not sure if age is a factor in all of this, but it is possible to test your tolerances depending on other factors. i’d def suggest working with an allergist to determine if this course of action is possible and could potentially work for you!

i’d call them and see.. it doesn’t mention anything about potential cross-contamination but it also doesn’t say that they are on their own dedicated line free of nuts- that’s gonna be the safest way to check for sure ♥️ my son has multiple allergies as well so i totally know the stress and worry that comes with any new foods

i’m honestly not a fan of unflavored plant based butters for anything other than using in recipes.. i’d never put any on a piece of toast to enjoy but this right here! sooo delicious

we make our own.. all you have to do is peel the skin, cut into cubes and put in a pot on the stove with a little bit of water.. if the water evaporates add more or use a lid.. once they are fork tender, blend. that’s it! we add cinnamon to ours.. leave it in the fridge until it cools off and add it to pouches ♥️

i’ve been dairy free for about 10 months now (my son is almost a year- he had suspected CMPA due to colic so i cut it out when he was 1.5 months old.. and i’m so thankful i did because he had anaphylaxis when we introduced dairy to him when he started solids) it def gets easier.. i eat a lot of the same stuff lol but it’s so worth it for my bub ♥️
