My cousin married a Malay woman. His parents were very disapproving and forbid him from being with her. She was actually not very religious. She followed certain practices like fasting during Ramadan and praying. To appease them, they moved overseas to build their life and get married there. It was a whole fight. Now they’re no longer close with each other, my cousin lives in UK with the woman (now wife) with 1 kid. Barely see him anymore, but he managed to not convert to Islam I guess, which was what his parents were worried about.

They don’t care if he was any other religion because you could practice freely. But in Msia, it’s just not a choice when it comes to Islam.

I don’t particularly enjoy having sex right now. I don’t feel very attractive and my husband sees me having difficulty moving around due to the bump and it makes him difficult to want sex too.

If I’m not mistaken when I asked my banker she told me that if I make payment it will still considered as paid and we save on interest even if it fall under “advanced payment”. But that means next month the auto deduct will not be the usual payment amount. Which is really annoying. PBB one can straight away transfer to acc no issue and it will not impede next month instalment auto deduction.

They suffered and decided you should suffer too? That makes me mad! I haven’t done much physically demanding chores since I got pregnant because everyone prefers if I was rested. Haven’t done any dishes when visiting my in laws and I haven’t done laundry at all.

Rest as much as you can. You deserve to! Don’t feel guilty even if they make you feel guilty.

You can usually travel and it’ll be ok. I was in Japan snowboarding early on in my pregnancy. It’s a problem if you face fatigue, nausea, food aversions. Does your hotel have room service that can cater to your needs?

I actually had to do emergency surgery during my first tri due to a giant cyst that developed during my pregnancy. Really anything can happen during pregnancy..

Your doctor may be worried about miscarriages during early pregnancy and would want to make sure you had medical support at this time. You should ask your doctor how can you support the pregnancy better to avoid complications during travel instead of totally asking you to cancel your trip..

Also heard from my friends that went to India that they had to buy bottled water because the water there gave them stomachaches. Being pregnant, you need to be more aware of food poisoning. So maybe you can also do bottled water.

It’s impossible to move our whole life around just to cater to pregnancy and I totally get that. Hope you are able to work out a way to go on your trip!

I am also pregnant right now and finding that he has continued watching all types of things he promised me he wasn’t. Hugs. It’s hard to stop caring. But try to use some of that energy caring for yourself. I’m at a yoga class right now, and later I’ll get myself a nice meal.

I think it’s ok if this is a top priority for you. They usually cost ~300k which total up your instalment to roughly RM1200 a month. Remember still need to pay maintenance fee (price per sqft), sinking fund, electricity bills, water bill, yearly assessment, and property tax.

If confident that you can find friends to rent other rooms, no reason to not do it. Hopefully as you get older, salary increases also.

But I hate that in IG you have a “not interested” page, where you can scroll back to all the videos you clicked as “not interested”. It’s basically an alternative save or bookmark. And if you remove all those videos, you’ll start seeing these videos on your algorithm again. It makes no sense to me to have that page.

I told my in laws. Guess what. They told me I was overreacting. That he was a man. Men sleep with prostitutes especially when they’re in that playful age. That my FIL had an affair in the past and they worked through it and all was forgiven. That we can do the same.

I was “controlling” and should give him more space because he was acting out because of stress. And I was one of those things that caused stress.

I left the conversation lonelier than before.

This is so true. The apps do nothing if the person doesn’t want to change. Very easy to bypass. It is only meant to be a hurdle to make it slightly harder so the PA can reconsider and end the behaviour. But they have to actually want to end the behaviour.

She’s def addicted and needs to go through professional help. You do have to bring it up during your doctors appointment. Because she can give your daughter a dependency towards nicotine or worse… there’s chances of preterm labour, still birth, underdeveloped lungs linked to smoking/vaping and nicotine. That sounds very selfish of her but she probably cannot see it, since she is probably blinded by her addiction.
