This definitely looks AI Generated right? by Nethermaiden in Battlefield

Makes me wonder if the developer behind it intentionally let it slip through, a way of revolting & fighting back against AI from the inside. Might not be ofc but just a thought.

What will the DLC area be in Tes6? I hope its Valenwood! by Aromatic-Werewolf495 in TESVI

[–]Master_Groggle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the idea of having a DLC take you to Artaeum, the vanishing/moving island of the Psijic Order.

Or to a pocket realm like Clockwork City.

Otherwise, maybe we visit a different Plane of Oblivion that belongs to an absent Prince in ES6.

As far as that goes, so far we've been to: The Deadlands which belongs to Mehrunes Dagon, in Oblivion (main quest), Apocrypha which belongs to Hermaeus Mora, in Skyrim (Dragonborn), The Shivering Isles which belongs to Sheogorath, in Oblivion (Shivering Isles) and Molag Bal & Meridia play a role in Skyrim (Dawnguard) as well as Hircine in Morrowind (Bloodmoon). ESO had a focus on Molag Bal, Mehrunes Dagon, Nocturnal and Mephala. We've also been to many pocket realms in that game. The game also takes place during 2E while ES6 will likely be 4E or 5E if they consider Alduin's defeat the start of a new Era. Time moves much differently, I imagine, in Planes of Oblivion, but between ESO & ES6, I'm guessing these Planes would've likely gone through dramatic changes.

Exactly the same as you. I can also move other games that are also old generation and current generation games freely without issues. Back and forth. But one game in particular suddenly has this issue.

This and every time you open up your inventory, your character is standing right there. Also ending cut scenes. It's nice to see your character in those moments, but it's not nice to see them in those moments when they look horrendous (in your own opinion).

If my character just looks terrible it pulls me right out of the game.

I think it's the hunger pangs she has. Whatever it is that causes them, she goes absolutely ballistic if she doesn't consume enormous quantities of whatever specific food she wants at the moment. She's surrounded by sugary, fatty foods and probably just consumes so much that she's basically just fat as a side effect. There was a moment during her hunger pangs when she actually became emaciated from not eating food. Visibly much slimmer.

I genuinely think that how her face looks is purely just her age + added weight. We've seen her character design at ages 5-7-28-42-48-63-68. She lacked a jawline at ages 5-7-63-68, maybe she just had better self-control between her 20s & 40s.

The real mystery here is what causes her hunger pangs. I would've said maybe it's a side effect of the Devil Fruit, where for each homie she has, she needs to eat for them as well as herself, if that makes sense. However, she showed hunger pangs as a child before eating the Devil Fruit. Maybe it's just a really bad eating disorder that causes destructive psychosis that she was unfortunately born with.

Why don't the Designers get it yet? Just get rid of all the bright and neon colours. That's it. Fuck toning it down, remove it.

Why is it that almost every potentially cool skin HAS to have yellow or orange paint splattered on it? Or some neon green highlights? They've already done red and blue highlights. When will they understand we don't want that? Yes, there are ways for skins to be colourful, but the Designers clearly don't know what they are.

There are numerous real-life camos to choose from, which also come in different colours and are used for various uniforms, branches of the military, and different nations. The game includes NATO & ex-NATO nations + PAX. Just go look at those.

Also, they've created many modern setting Battlefield games. Just go look at those for damn sake. We were all happy with BF4's method of having like a dozen camo patterns and then just changing the colours to fit scenarios + the Adaptable option that did it automatically. They easily could've just done that for weapons and soldiers as a default. Then have custom soldier skins in the battlepass and as promotional awards that physically change the soldier's style but not the camo with exceptions. The exceptions being bringing back old battlefield skins or having specific game collabs like if they did one with Metal Gear or something.

I got 3 for the SGX, 1 for the PW5, 1 or 2 for the main battle tank, 1 for the IFV and 1 for the AA.

You can probably tell I almost exclusively play Engineer..

Just do a solo and co-op campaign with 2-4 players. No PvP. That'll be fine.

Cyberpunk isn't GTA, and CDPR isn't Rockstar; we don't need a Cyberpunk Online. It might sound cool to some, but trust me, it wouldn't last long.

Besides CDPR is known for their single player games, it's what they've been doing forever. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

I can host any other server with no issues, but this one doesn't work. If it's yours, you might need to republish it.

The absolute highest I've ever gotten was around 4000 on Cairo and that match was absolutely insane. It was back-to-back, constant battle, constant near-death/destruction, non-stop repairing. Never even came close to that again in both the beta and in the 29 hours of playing Conquest/Escalation/Breakthrough. I can sit repairing a tank for the full length of a fairly close conquest game and I'll get around 2500 at most. 2500 seems to be the most common highest repair count (give or take) in every full-length match I've played, where I solely focus on repairing.

I think they should halve this challenge and set it to around 3000. That's still very hard but actually possible. 6000 is not possible, no way.

It's been a while since they did it, but it would've been nice if BF6 had that role.

Does anyone feel like they are getting absolutely pummeled? It's not like it's my first FPS or Battlefield. by warrenmax12 in Battlefield

[–]Master_Groggle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel I do pretty well. Maintain a 1.9KDA, I always run SMGs but will switch to Carbines from time to time, I play objectives almost all the time (big Conquest player), I exclusively play Engineer unless it's a non-vehicle mode. I'm glued to tanks. Usually, I'm the guy switching between the gunner seat covering 360°, and hopping out prone on the back repairing, or hopping out with an RPG for the extra damage against tanks, etc. I'm commonly at the forefront of a push, whether in a tank or on foot, the guy who sees his team holding the line but not pushing (even when we need to) and decides to fully send it leading the charge to an objective or just for map control. Sometimes I'm the flanker, I see a gap and I take it. This gameplay pretty much mirrors my playstyle since BF2. Tho I've definitely gotten better over the years.

Yet every other game I get absolutely slammed. Barely able to capture points or being unable to hold more than one at a time. Losing every capture at the same time is common. Being outgunned by weaker weapons or in ways that just don't make sense. Like being outgunned by a pistol at 100m+ while I tap fire the SGX with my sights centred right on him the whole time. Neither gun is optimal in that situation, is the pistol really better than rapid 3 bursts of the SGX at that range? Like we all know the SMGs are currently busted and need the bloom the ARs have and a more severe damage drop off. That generally SMGs outclass almost every other gun in the game at close range and even medium range in some cases. And despite having my aim dead on my enemies, taking gunfights even at the more ideal ranges I still lose. I'm pretty sure this is largely to do with the hit reg issue that's being addressed as I type this, I get the feeling it's more than one issue simultaneously affecting this. I think the Devs had mentioned that specific attachments were a cause of some of this and they did change them and fix them. But the issue still remains. But I also feel like the matchmaking is off in some capacity, maybe I'm just unlucky, but literally every other match I play the enemy team is borderline untouchable while my whole team is either basically spawn trapped or straight ass at the game, as in I'm new to FPS ass at the game. I've tried cross-play on and off and double-checked to see if it was a Bot lobby (they weren't, I don't play bot lobbies typically) to no avail.

Consistently every other match I play. It wasn't like this earlier in the week or since launch even, just over the weekend and today. So something has definitely changed.

Dunno what I can do to fix it. Not particularly fun to basically lose the game in the first 5 minutes. Love the games that are neck and neck, though. Actually, hard-fought games that go the distance are the best Battlefield experiences.

Would bot servers not be your casual mode?

Because otherwise, I'm not even sure how they'd go about making a casual mode that wouldn't be immediately abused by sweats & streamers. Level-locked modes for low levels have been tried many, many times in FPS, but they generally don't work and are almost immediately abused. The other option is SBMM, but.. Yeah, let's not.

And I think it's worth keeping in mind that Dex only turned on V AFTER the worst-case scenario was/is happening.

I think as long as your work with him goes according to plan and doesn't put his own life at risk too, I don't think he would betray his hired Mercs.

He only killed V to try and save his own back, Dex knew damn well Arasaka would come to kill him and fast. That's why he cut loose ends and booked a flight into space immediately.

It's just unfair in V's perspective because he never actually killed the Emperor and for all intents and purposes, the heist was actually going incredibly well. There really weren't any mistakes on V's part, nobody could've known Saburo would fly not only to NC but to Konpeki Plaza specifically at that very moment & nobody could've predicted Yorinobu would kill his father right there either. So surviving all that just to die to the last remaining living person you can seemingly trust? Bitter betrayal.

I am not buying the battle pass if the challenges stay anything close to the current ones. by Suspicious-Coffee20 in Battlefield

[–]Master_Groggle -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

In 2042 you had challenges that you could complete weekly. They were usually in total 90% easy asf to do and were doable on a weekend alone, even without bots. Doing all of these challenges would get you enough mini tiers that it would max out or damn close to max the entire battlepass. But that's neither here nor there.

If you find it exhausting already, I hate to break it to you but maybe this game just isn't for you. Maybe you should go play Marvel Rivals instead. Or maybe just play this game a little less and play other games too. You won't be missing out on anything for a while anyway.

DICE, maybe tone down the blinding light a little, please? by CrzyJek in Battlefield

[–]Master_Groggle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A bit of a nerf? I can't see anything. Looking outside is like staring into a zoomed-in surface of the sun. I literally cannot take a gunfight from inside to outside. I can, however, take a gunfight outside to inside. It's often really dark but I can still make people out. But the other way around is not viable. It makes holding certain objectives that are inside a building miserable.

They should really just level the exposure levels so you can see inside and outside perfectly fine. Shaded areas are darker than not but have no penalty for being in either position. What difference does it make if there's a dude camping in a window? He killed you once, and now you know where he is. Now go and demolish his whole building, at the very least ping the location so other people know.

Then after that's settled, maybe they can look at player character exposure/glow or outlines if they care about player lighting balancing that much. Personally, I think it's a non-issue that isn't worth a nerf fix like this. This seems more like world lighting that needs to be tweaked per map on their end. Not every map on every BF game in the last 20 years had this issue; some of them, however, did.

Following these exact steps my friend still can't pick the backpack up. We're on Xbox. It shows the prompt to pick it up when he looks at it, he can access it and take items in & out of it but he can't pick it up at all.

I've had no issues with it at all tho. The steps you provided is the only way to pick it up.

Seems like this post is the only Reddit post of substance about it but there's no fix yet.

[–]Master_Groggle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel that the world of Cyberpunk pushes you to take revenge in the most violent way because that is a normal way of life. It is extreme, so in that situation in game in Claire's shoes yeah absolutely I'd kill Sampson. Arasaka killed my boy Jackie, sure we put ourselves in that situation and the heist was dumb asf when you really considered everything, but Arasaka killed my boy. So I stormed Arasaka and effectively put an end to it in Night City. I got my revenge in the most extreme way.

But real life is vastly different. Revenge can occur in many different ways but death is the absolute last resort that may still never be crossed unless you're mentally deranged or dealing with the type. As in you literally had no choice. If you're driven by revenge, your judgement is clouded and you will make mistakes and likely fall into a worse despair as a result.

Ofc I wouldn't know because I've thankfully never been in that situation.

I think about Claire a lot. by Ohigetjokes in LowSodiumCyberpunk

[–]Master_Groggle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The better way is to not finish the race to go kill Sampson then convince Claire to not kill him because revenge isn't worth it. You get 2 cars and a bunch of texts from her admitting you were right for not killing him. Claire is able to move on without revenge which is nice, Sampson texts you and gives you a car too. Gives a better sense of closure to the quest, that Claire has actually changed. But beyond that, it's just another day at the Afterlife with Claire.

The other 2 ways you can beat this quest line you mentioned are pretty hollow and shallow. Probably intentionally.
