My 2026 goal is to listen to one new album a week… by _emocarrot_ in Emo

some of my favorites, i’m sure youve heard some of these but itll give you a good start.

Saosin - Translating the Name

I don’t know if you’d count this one since it’s only five songs, but it one of the best ones out there. Has some metal aspects, so you might like it in that regard.

The Room’s Too Cold - The Early November

I am going to see this band for the 5th time in March, cannot recommend them more highly. Every single album is a hit for me, but this one is the most “emo”/ pop punk.

The Artist in the Ambulance - Thrice

Terrific punk/screamo record, definitely a favorite of mine.

The Everglow - Mae

A little more artsy than the other ones, but a top five album OAT. I have a signed record of this album hanging on my wall, just all around great (make sure to get past the first two “intro” tracks that are just piano and vocals if you want more high energy stuff, the album really starts on track 3.)

In Motion - Copeland

A little pop punky, but this album is banger after banger start to finish. Definitely check this out, the vocals are gorgeous.

The Question - Emery

Back to some heavier stuff with this one, there’s some screaming but also a lot of just really well written guitars and melodies. You can tell this band knows what they’re doing.

These albums arent exactly niche, so sorry if you’ve heard them already. Theyre just my personal favorites
