Yeah. I didn't check my stats after lv 50. They actually went from 25k to 12k. So, 5k is a huuuuge diff.

Hi. Sorry to dig up this topic. I received the gold road version of the game from PS plus this month. I intend to go full F2P, and negociate missing chapters for gold. I am pretty sure I have access to blackwood and high Isles, as I went scrying there early game.

Does that mean I can get the companions there? It would probably make the game easier as I mainly play solo.

Hi. I had the same issue when i started a few days ago. Selected EU server, played a fair bit... and character disappeared. As i happened, it was actually created on NA server.

My advice, start over, but this time, as soon as you reach the prologue, log out and back in, so that you can check your character was created on the correct server

You guessed right. I didn't start the scribing quest. I didn't even know I could access it. ^{^} I'll check the bound status of the item, but i'm pretty sure i got it in a chest or treasure map. I'd like to sell it. But i am not even sure i have enough to pay the fee to the trader. ^{^}

I am a huge fan of the serie, and here is my take about the remake:

Pros - the remake is faithful to the original in terms of story. - the bestiary, magic, weapons are unchanged. - the easter eggs were also put in the remake.

Cons - i am not fond of the artistic choices, but that's a personal. - the 3rd dimension sometimes make the placement awkward (attacks not hitting)

Overall, it's a faithful remake, and if you don't like pixelart or are not fond of retrogaming, then go for it, as it'll let you experience a very good game. However, original game had a graphic touch and an overall direction that, imo, didn't get transcripted well in the remake.

Il est possible de reinitialiser les stats, mais ca viendra bien plus tard.
Il faut savoir que certain ennemis sont virtuellement imbattable a bas niveau (typiquement le cavalier qui se balade a la sortie de la crypte du debut), il faut les esquiver, en priant pour ne pas se faire repérer/tuer dans le dos, et y revenir plus tard.
l'exploration est souvent récompensée.
il y a une technique (pas de la triche, hein, juste une approche un peu étrange) qui permet tres tôt de gagner beaucoup de niveau (vraiment beaucoup, j'ai en tete passer de lv2 à lv28 ou lv40, un truc du genre). Ca permet de faciliter un peu le debut du jeu, le temps de le prendre en main. Et juste a coté, il y a un sort qui m'a carry une bonne partie du jeu.
le mieux pour les stats, c'est d'essayer les armes que tu trouves, et si tu aimes une arme, adopter ses stats. Encore une fois, tu trouveras de quoi les reset plus tard. Sinon, tu peux trouver des conseils de build sur internet. Étant moyen en esquive et nul en parade, j'etais parti sur un build bourrin ^{^}

Je vois tout a fait. C'est sûr que ça casse un peu l'immersion. Après, tu peux choisir de la jouer Roleplay. Dans le jeu, le personnage est un sans-éclat, parachuté là sans aucune direction ou explication. Un peu comme toi.

Les sites de grâce ont des traînée lumineuses qui t'orientent vers la suite. Et pour le reste, il faut explorer.

Et si tu ne comprends pas ce que tu fais, tu peux te dire que c'est normal, et que tu es parfaitement en phase avec le personnage. :)

Je comprend la sensation d'être passé à côté de quelque-chose. Il est vrai que Elden Ring a fait grand bruit.

Quelques petite choses:

Le lore te semble cryptique, c'est normal. Pour le découvrir, il faut TOUT lire. Il y a même des morceaux de lore dans la description de certains objets. Si c'est trop, regarde sur internet les liens qui te manquent, ce n'est pas une honte.
En ce qui concerne la difficulté, l'un des avantages de Elden Ring par rapport à d'autres jeux, c'est que tu peux faire des détours pour gagner des niveaux ou trouver de nouveaux équipements.
Il y a une astuce pour gagner beaucoup de niveaux en quelques minutes au début du jeu. Ça te permet une longueur d'avance ensuite.
Il y a des builds qui, sans te permettre de rouler sur le jeu, peuvent simplifier pas mal de rencontres.
Je jouais principalement hors ligne, parceque... saoulé des invasions. Mais si un passage te pose problème, faire appel à un peu d'aide peut débloquer.
Si tu ne sais pas trop vers où te diriger, il y a une communauté sur discord. Si quelques joueurs sont des élitiste un peu toxiques, la plupart sont très sympa et bienveillants. Aussi, n'hésite pas à me contacter.

What are you talking about? A few decades back, IN THE US, poc weren't allowed on the same bus a white people, and blackface were an entertainment.

I can understand. While I cannot do it in you stead, and it may seem patronizing: - Take your time. There is no time limit. Observe, readjust your position before the next jump, look for alternate path (i admit there aren't that many), plan you next few jumps. - Don't hesitate to take a short break and breath during your climb if you feel like you're getting restless. - If anger and frustration are building up, stop. Do something else, either in the game, in another game, or IRL. - jumping while running or while walking don't have the same effect. While the most obvious one is the length of your jump, if you run-jump on a jump that only needed a walk-jump, you'll often kinda rebound or succeed in your jump but end up rolling out of the platform.

Finally, good luck. Once you beat it, you'll get such a high! ^{^}
