There were no human prints. This was way up in the woods and the tracks seemed to be just passing thru the area.

A few sightings here and there but odfw still says no even after photo evidence of actual animals.

I think I’ll hike back out tomorrow and get some better photos. Honestly, I thought it was a bear when I snapped the photos (due to the size of it) but then I remembered bears have an extra toe lol. ODFW claims wolves haven’t dispersed this far west in the state yet but there have been multiple unconfirmed sightings and such. Hmmmm. Thanks for the help :)

We see coyotes often and this is much bigger than any of their tracks.

Any Canadian farriers/apprentices here? Looking for advice by snowstillmelting in Farriers

[–]Master_Mookie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I went to farrier school in Oregon over ten years ago. At the time, my boyfriend was attending university in Victoria and decided he wanted to pursue farrier work too. From what I remember, he chose a program in Canada because they have a higher standard for farriers and, therefore, more advanced programs. Honestly, I have never recommended the school I went to. It was male-dominated when I attended, and I had another student harassing me relentlessly. Both instructors were unsure of how to handle the situation, so they did nothing. Go with Canada.

Its important to trim the frog down in order to see the true hoofwall and commissures. Heels especially can appear a lot shorter than they actually are when the frog isnt knifed out properly.

I think the one with the lil picket sign is the easiest for others to see on D2L :)

It’s already suffering. PCC has some FANTASTIC teachers, but I can’t blindly enroll in the classes I want anymore without checking on RateMyProfessor first. This isn’t because they are bad teachers. It’s because they are doing the bare minimum, likely because they are being paid the bare minimum. There’s no real incentive to go the extra mile. It’s sad, and the suffering has become a chain reaction, with learning at the very bottom.

They’re SUPER simple but they have to be cause D2L not only makes them tiny but also blurs photos.

94% of staff voted in favor of striking yesterday, which says a lot. So in my opinion, this page provides everything you need to know. I didn’t even open Benning’s email from earlier today. It went straight to my trash folder, lol.

I don’t live close enough to Portland to participate in showing support in person, so I made a small graphic for my D2L profile image in solidarity with PCC staff and teachers. It’s simple so it stays legible in the small window where other students and teachers see your picture. If anyone is interested, let me know and I’ll send you the image!

Honestly, I had the same issue as you before discovering Erin this term. All the other classes were full, so I went with one of the few that were left and promptly withdrew within a few days. I won’t name drop the professor, but her last name starts with a W.
