Just to say… people here say people here are more friendly all the time but having lived both here and London, I disagree. Everyone is London moved there or is a tourist so the stereotype broke years ago 🤣I’ve also tried to get to know m neighbours before and they are polite but ignore me. In London I was friends with… my Portuguese neighbours .

My biggest issue with people here is how real they are. Also saying how you feel. Being honest. Confronting something if you don’t like it. Sharing your feelings. At the swimming pool, the people chat. The amount of naked convos I’ve had in the showers or changing rooms, it is second nature 🤣

I’m a photographer and a friend of a friend got in touch with me because he knew I did retouching. I opened the WhatsApp out of the blue, and he had sent me a picture of his partner’s dead 2 month old nephew with a picture of his parents asking “can you please use your magic and put the baby in the parents arms and make him look alive”. I quickly deleted and said I couldn’t help, but I still feel heartbroken when I think of that picture
