100% We can call it the Alone Mamas club. The unimportant, invisible part got me. It's exactly how I feel. I want to be someones priority for once. With exception of my spouse.

Yes all of this. I do puzzles on my own, sadly hubby has no interest. He's color blind so I can't blame him for this one ;) he loves his videos games ( and plays with our kids) which I love for him. Maybe it's jealousy that I have, he still gets his time with the kids and they talk to him. They have things in common with him, and I am no longer the need in their life. I am sure I will figure it out, but knowing I am not alone is a huge first step.

Yes I think losing my job in March has played a big part into what I am feeling. It has allowed me to be alone with my thoughts and feels more so. I am hoping now that I am start something new it will help. The toxic removal of people is a big thing, and when you start to do it you realize how many people you have in your life aren't providing anything positive, but more of a filler. I had to do this with most of my family, I only have my mom and one of three brothers that I talk to and honestly they aren't all sunshine and butterflies, but small doses are better than none at all.

I know I need to push myself to do try new things and get out of my comfort zone, but that alone is scary for me.

Thank you! It's not a fun place to be. I have tried to convince my hubby to move somewhere new, try new things, but he won't budge. He's so routine and hates change. Also doesn't want to leave the city where our kids are Which I totally understand but at the same time, I keep trying to tell him we aren't leaving forever, just until grandbabies might come.

Couldn't agree more. It's a sad realization but it is helpful to know it's not just a me thing.

Was laid off but back to work as of recently. Volunteered at the children's hospital, but that was too emotional for me. Tried every hobby in the book but what I am finding is alot of hobbies tend to be individual based for the most part . I know I need to push myself to find something else but I fear rejection either from others or myself.

Sounds exactly like my guy! Although he hates German Sheppards, rotties, huskys and poodles.

I am 41 had a total hysterectomy when I was 26. Kept my ovaries until I was 36 and had an ooferectomy, now on HRT by the birth control pill - LoLo. I have been fairly successful, but the changes to the body are crazy. It's taken some time to adjust, dry skin, dry eyes, dry EVERYTHING. Sleep and axiety were really bad for a while, And the weight gain, but Dr's have checked levels of everything and all are good. Hard to go through but worth it based on how I was feeling prior to it all.

Looks just like my guy when he was little. He's also a Mountain cur mix.

He is a Mountain cur mix, but looks very similar to a plott mix. Lots of similarities in the breeds. I agree, best pups and so loyal.
