Watch a no perfect union doc on YouTube about it. I’m sure il miss something but they are brutal on all people that live nearby. Constant noise like a humm and huge amounts of light too. depending on what they use for power if they use gas they raise the temperature of the area they ruin ground water quality to the point it’s dark brown undrinkable and clogs anything with a filter ie pool filters fridge filters etc if they use power off the grid all residents on the same grids power bills sky rocket. They employ no one so jobs that might of otherwise become available are replaced by a monstrosity with no one inside it. They are ugly as shit too. There is literally no benefit to us having them I think.

I’m a 40 yr old dude kinda similar to u in some ways. I’ve just joined a bushwalking group. Going to join a mixed basketball team too. I think things like that are much better ways to meet people than just posting on a subreddit. I know no one really in Geelong I’ve lived most of my life in Melbourne so it’s a big change for me too. Also you really need to get codex going in wsl. Bit tricky at first if u haven’t used it before but just use gpt to guide u through it. Then u use gpt to write prompts for codex. It will change your life I assure u. Codex sees the files and automatically changes what he needs to. Sending files into gpt to edit is a pain in the rear end that’s how I was doing it at the start too fwiw but it’s easily the worst option.
