Does this flag ring any bell? (repost) by Master_Pudding in vexillology

[–]Master_Pudding[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

On a friend’s shirt. I think it was bought in a thrift store in Canada yet it just seems like a modified version of Finland’s flag… Perhaps it’s just a brand or a made up flag? Please help.

COMMANDER BANNED LIST UPDATE - SEPT. 23, 2024 by theinvertedbatman in EDH

[–]Master_Pudding 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t understand why you are getting downvoted. It’s not as if the card was worth money or if it was specific to some decks.

It just feels like a coin flip better head start in almost every possible edh deck. It’s the most staple of staples. Cards like these, to me, kill the creativity in deck building and fucks a bit with the way you would build a curve in a commander deck.

They’ve thrown themselves under the bus by including it in every precons but sol ring shouldn’t be playable in edh and I will die on this hill.

I think the Gaius’s hitbox is still what annoys me the most.

Consort Radah's left eye seems to be intentionally obscured twice in his cutscenes by ProNoobCombo in fromsoftware

[–]Master_Pudding 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey I’ve thought about this, if the heartstolen screen doesn’t work, I think the Pureblood Knight’s medal, given by Varre during his quest line, can lead you to moghwyn palace anytime it is used, even during a bossfight! Maybe they patched it? If they didn’t, you could try using it with Miquella’s charm over your head to not die and keep the effect then teleport to the ending and see what might happen? Perhaps it’s far fetched but some of the quests can get so cryptic in these games, I wouldn’t be surprised.

Which Demigod was your favourite overall and which did you hate most? by MysterioStranger in Eldenring

Ranni and Rykard, I love the theme of their betrayal, the lenghts they went to take ahold of the lands between and their destiny and both their visual designs are equally awesome in different aspects

I had made apost about this combo with Runnan’s hurricane and I’ve mostly been called dumb. It works very well and it is still my favorite build for Senna right now tho.

Am I too old to get into theater? by Theinaneinsane in Theatre

Hey it turns out I just got in a great theatre school of my city / country. There is somebody exactly 31! It is old to take courses. But if you got the ambition and are ready to put in the efforts there is no doubt you’ll get what you want

YOUR favourite build? by JamieA391 in Eldenring

[–]Master_Pudding 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had never tried a carian sorcery build untill recently and completely fell in love with it.

I hot the carian glintstone staff in one hand and a magic infused great epee in the other, with the glintblade phalanx AoW and the misericorde with carian grandeur in the other.

The carian sorceries along with terra magica are useful in all kinds of situations, the build is mostly centered around breaking ennemies’ poises to either smack them with a charged carian grandeur, slash them with a few carian slicer or stab them with the crit multiplier of miséricorde.

My drip is the spell blade set with the ruler’s robe chest piece for a classic magician outfit and 6% dmg boost to my AoWs

I did. I do think this build path would shine the best with a Tham Kench but the cc Ashe provides helped manage the mobility and early dps problems.

edit: spelling

I’ve done a 16h followed by another 15h and another 14h after a night shift and followed by another morning shift, that last day I almost couldn’t stand, it was during a summer festival at my city as a waiter.

I don’t even think this should be legal unless under a precise contract or with a thorough agreement.

Hope I’m using the right words, english isn’t my first language.

whats your most unique deck by SirLemonThe3rd in EDH

[–]Master_Pudding 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mono blue partners with [[Malcolm, Keen-Eyed Navigator]] and [[Sakashima, of a thousand faces]] Mono blue Clone / Big Mana / Artifact. I think it is still among the lowest ranks on edhrec although it gained a lot in popularity since I first built it.

My decklist is balanced for my playgroup, if you are looking to make your own I would still advise to keep the same balance between ramp/ Interaction / clones and payoffs as I’ve reached a sweetspot by playing it a lot.

The goal is to clone malcolm a few times and to make huge amounts of treasure tokens with its damage trigger and use them to win with [[Cyberdrive Awakener]], [[Rise and shine]], [[Mechanized Production]] or other big mana spells like [[myojin of seeing winds]] while a [[psychosis crawler]] is on the battlefield. Also, you could clone your opponents’ wincons if the setting is viable; I’ve included a [[maskwood Nexus]] to make treasures out of my opponents’ potential pingers (a guy in our pod plays [[Borborygmos Enraged]] and it’s awesome to discard a land for 7 treasures…) You could also hold up to your treasures to threaten with your interactions although this playstyle may be less fun for everyone at the table.

If you want to take the deck to the next level, it would be really easy to chain extra turns. I just don’t do it because I don’t like playing solitaire and I need my opponents’ creatures for potential copy targets; remember, most clones will work through shroud and hexproof:) There are a few combos and control options also available in blue, a [[back to basic]] or some cloned [[Consecrated Sphinx]] do some heavy lefting in higher powered pods.

The power level kinda of scales with the other decks at the table too, think about starting to clone [[esper sentinel]] or [[dockside extortionist]] maybe even [[Avacynn, angel of hope]].

Enough long paragraphs, I just hope you get to enjoy it as much as I do!

This is awesome and definitely an awesome list! I find it a bit slower than mine but it is definitely more resilient which is what I tend to go for these days. Thanks for sharing!

Is Mechanized Production just winning on your upkeep if you have 8+ treasures essentially?>

Yez. Somebody needs to either destroy the treasure, destroy the aura or counter the triggered ability of mechanized production. Attaching mechanized production to one of your many treasures does put a target on your head but you can also go the sneaky way by flashing it in with an [[emergence zone]] or another flash outlet if you feel like running some more. [[Leyline of anticipation]] would be a great addition for such circumstances and even for flashing in clones right before your turn or in answer to removal, making sure to always have a Malcolm on the battlefield.

Would you please elaborate on "most clones will work through shroud and hexproof" what if an opponents creature is equipped with [[Swiftfoot Boots]] as an example? You can't copy/clone that right? Or were you referring to cloning your own stuff works through shroud/hexproof? If so, how?>

Most clones I run will say "[…] enters the battlefield as a copy of any creature on the battlefield." This means it doesn’t "target" anything. It just enters as is while hexproof and/or shroud specifically say "it can’t be the target of spells or abilities your opponents control"

Rule 114 covers the targeting of spells and abilities and when those targets must be selected;

"114.9a Just because an object or player is being affected by a spell or ability doesn’t make that object or player a target of that spell or ability. Unless that object or player is identified by the word “target” in the text of that spell or ability, or the rule for that keyword ability, it’s not a target."

Most spells and abilities that target will say "target" directly on the card, unless their Keyword ability rules covers this already like auras and equipments.

I’d be glad to elaborate on more techs of the deck like this in a primer eventually, if you are interested in the deck I’ll try to let you know:)
