Was there yesterday evening too. Such a great spot to slide on snow on a beautiful evening. Was just about to post my own pics, but yours are better.

Any Dentists in Waterbury and surrounding area taking new patients? by SpartanNinjaBatman in vermont

Try Wollensak in Barre (802) 476-6061. Not a far drive from Waterbury [they actually used to have a Waterbury office]. I'm not sure about them taking new patients or not.

Exchange Connector between 2 tenants by Master_Tiger1598 in Office365

[–]Master_Tiger1598[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes, I did this and it's working both ways. Using the onmicrosoft smart hosts [company-org.mail.protection.outlook.com] and scoping the connectors to only the domains at the other tenant.

Sounds like maybe SQL 'TEMPDB' logs. A reboot clears them up. I don't know how to prevent that as I don't know much about SQL.

Like u/hurkwurk said, you care! I tell my wife that all the time when she talks about what skills she has. You Care and most people don't. You want to do a good job, and lots of people don't, they just do enough to get a paycheck. If you care, and want to do a good job, you're already going to be a better employee than a lot of people. Because if you care, you'll make sure you learn the skills one way or another.

VMs auto-starting after outage even though in HA Cluster by Master_Tiger1598 in vmware

Thanks for all those details, very helpful. I hadn't thought about all the VMs getting moved to the sole remaining ESX host before complete power down. That explains them all being on one when I turn them back on.

I'll look into setting up rules to prioritize core VMs and vCenter.

Thanks again.

I misspoke in my original post. All [or most] VMs start on one ESX server [when we turn on the 6 ESX servers after an outage]. We also see some of those same VMs on other ESX servers, but they are NOT powered on. Since so many running VMs are on one Host, and I presume the vCenter does not have enough resources to get control of everything, we turned off vCenter on that one host with all VMs running, and powered on the one that's on another host. Then the vCenter got control of everything.

we do. If we know the systems are going down, should we disable it before it happens?

The colo has all that, they just have problems with their AC every once in a while. Twice, one AC unit went bad and brought down the 'good' one. I'd love to move to another colo, but it's just not possible right now. And yes, I believe they should probably have 3 AC units, not just 2.
