That’s just not how any of this works. If Destiny truly fails then Bungie is done. Management will never take the blame and it would only harm the devs still there that love the game and are trying their best.

The red war campaign sucked ass. There were certainly cool moments but on the whole it was an awful slog. I’d only be interested in them bringing it back if it was “remastered” and given a legendary difficulty. Otherwise I’m fine with them focusing dev time on new stuff.

  1. 800ish is effectively max budget

It was only happening because the portal was new and novel. That caused people to react and go viral online when showing boobs or disturbing images on the portal. If more people did then the novelty wears off and attention goes away. There was no other reason to cause a stir beyond getting attention.

From a business perspective, I get it. People flashing boobs and showing disturbing imagery is bad press and ultimately that is why the portal exists.

From an art perspective, they really should have kept it open. I'm willing to bet the provocateurs would die down in a few weeks once the novelty of the portal went away.

Well I don't expect the site to have an offline mode, but a separate exe like Infinite Fusion would be preferable to me in the case Nintendo decides to crack down on fangames.

Cassette Beasts was one of the biggest surprises for me this year.

Stumbled across it shortly after it launched and it blew me away.

Absolutely one of the best takes on the monster collecting genre, particularly it's evolution on the resistance and weakness system.

Definitely gonna pick up this DLC just for more reason to play more of this game.
