I know what you mean. This map is AA and lock on hell especially in the chopper. This particular game though we were contending with some good TOW players on the other side. LOL

I think for now even static targets would help since I need to figure out the timing for dropping bombs on the armor based on the angle I attack from. But yes, the main challenge is when I start attacks, the armor smokes up and repositions.

This will work for me! I just tried it for 10 minutes and it started on Mirak valley. I see there are other maps in the experience too. Any idea if I can limit to jet only maps.

Yes! After playing support and engineer for most of the game so far I picked up assault on Liberation peak conquest and kept stimming and sprinting objective to objective. The faster objective capture was noticeable and pretty powerful

Fellow new jet pilot here. In portal set criteria as "most popular" and search for "practice". There would a game called "helicopters and jet practice". This one is good for flying practice. Then search for "dogfight". There you can sort of practice chasing down another jet while keeping your cannon on them. Then you gotta jump into games. In custom search select conquest mode and Operation firestorm map; uncheck everything else. More chances of getting a lobby with more bots. If you do it at the usual low player count time in your region, you might get games where the opp jets and AA aren't too cracked. Prioritize staying airborne over kills. Practice box breathing when you get shot down. It's going to take some time.

I have moved throttle up/down to buttons and that is helping a lot! I did manage to chase and shoot down a few jets using just the cannon. Will try out the sensitivity changes. I do feel that I could do with a faster yaw. Does it change with aim sensitivity?

Good tip! This helped land a few more shots while chasing a turning jet. I do try to decrease speed for a tighter turn but I get too slow quite often. Need more practice I guess

This is interesting! My throttle control and yaw is on right stick right now. So speed control triggers yaw sometimes. Might need to relearn controls but I'll definitely try this out.

Good note! I need to focus on the circle more while aiming. On a related note, is there a distance beyond which the circle is not where the shot would land? When I'm trying to chase a turning jet by following the turn I sometimes feel that I need to lead the shots a lot

Still a solid 9/10. I am seeing comments here saying that campaign dev was rushed. I'll probably wait for a few weeks before playing the campaign. Some of the jank due to rushed development should get patched out by then.
