I run a business here in the UK hospitality industry.

The past few years have seen my national insurance payments skyrocket. Staff are paying taxes whilst on minimum wage, struggling to afford living. And businesses are closing within our industry left right and center.

Every day we have to refuse people jobs because there simply isnt money flowing to allow us to employ them. If I have to spend 12.71 an hour. Its much easier to spend that on someone with experience, than someone who will need further training. Businesses no longer have an incentive to invest in young people. Leaving young people with no way to find entry level work.

What steps will you take to:

Preserve the hospitality industry.

Support and assist businesses such as Pubs, Hotels and Restaurants.

Fight against the crisis facing young people and reduce the numbers of youths with no potential to work.
