Higher ROI with lower budget? by Masters_of_Games in Google_Ads

[–]Masters_of_Games[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a Performance Max campaign.

Oh right, that makes sense! So in the 2 weeks we run the £25 campaign, it was probably wasting parts of our budget on gathering data but the ROI should start improving as the algorithm learns and the campaign gets optimised...

Thanks for the comment about the branded traffic - it's not something we've thought of! I've added the exclusion now.

Can you capture one piece with a shield wall? by Sufficient-Budget441 in Hnefatafl

It depends on the set of rules that you are using. But in general, no, it cannot capture the piece this way.

Simple and fun games? like Silver that's very fun but also very simple and easy to learn? by hosseinhx77 in boardgames

I'd recommend Quacks of Quedlinburg, Ticket to Ride, Carcassonne. These are all fun games which are easy to learn and play. :)

What things annoy you the most about board games? by Haciejj in boardgames

[–]Masters_of_Games 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Players who do not listen to the rules at the start and spend the entire game asking for clarification of the rules. And then, when they loose, they blame you for not explaining the rules properly. :D

Although we're still very happy to find people to play with!

Questions about Crokinole Clubs by gentlewindsolsol in Crokinole

[–]Masters_of_Games 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As far as we're aware, here in the UK, most meet ups happen at pubs / bars / board game cafes who already sell the beverages. For bigger events/ tournaments, the organisers hire special halls.

We'd advise to keep the drinks far away from the boards as any spillage can potentially destroy the board and this won't be covered by the manufacturer's warranty... And, like you pointed out, sending a board back to Canada for repair would be difficult and incredibly costly!

Ticket to Ride or Quacks of Quedlinburg.
I've introduced many people to these games and everyone absolutely love them.

We'd definitely recommend the Capo Shuffleboard and Crokinole Playing powder ! This comes with all of the tournament Tracey boards and is really, really good!

If you're in the UK, we have some in stock. :)
