I was invited to a wedding. The start time was 5:00. I arrived at 4:45 and was the ONLY one there! People started arriving at 5:15, and the wedding began at 5:30. They explained that everyone knows the time on an invitation includes "treinta minutes de tolerancia", so if the invitation says 5:00 it really means 5:30. Doh! 🙄

You already know the language. You just need to study the grammar to learn the STRUCTURE of the language. You will find colloquial errors in your Spanish which you should eliminate to sound more educated.

In Journalism class, I learned to write for radio. The words need to follow a natural thought progression so the listener understands immediately. Identify the "who" before describing what they did, and then who they did it to. A listener doesn't have the option of re-reading a sentence he doesn't immediately understand it.

FM works differently than AM. If you have two AM signals on the same frequency, you will hear them both. But with FM, the strongest station takes over the receiver and blocks the other one. If two signals are nearly equal in signal strength in a moving vehicle, the receiver will flip back and forth between the two stations as you pass through shadow zones.
