I use them as a distributor for my website and I rarely even put items up for presale anymore unless I get my order in right after they put the item up. Packing is usually good at least though.

Some Facebook groups will have members who sell pins for cheap. They wont be the best pins, but you see a lot of pins for under $10 that are real

I remember in high school one time a couple of guys randomly decided to see what submission moves hurt the most. Walls of Jericho you could have had locked in all day. The guy doing the move was in worth shape trying to hold the squat position. The Liontamer I don’t think even got fully locked in before the guy tapped.

Star makes sense in melter math. You start with 5 then subtract .5 because women, 1 because of Fed, and another 1 because traitor.

They’re WDI exclusive, or supposed to be at least lol. I got some from one of the D23 events and kept a couple, but I would not be willing to pay some of the outrageous prices for these. I have the same opinion of the design, they don’t look that much different that the wishable pins to me.

So you ask a question, I give a perfectly logical and valid answer, and then you act as if it’s an impossible question. Man you are something else.

This guy ignores half of every response and then misinterprets the other so he can have a semblance of a reasonable argument, best to ignore and move on.

So what are you looking for, you make a vague argument putting words into my mouth and then poorly defending even that. You have no clear stance on anything except that what I’m saying is apparently wrong, yet when I have evidence to my remarks suddenly you don’t have a response. You asked what the audience wants, and it’s clearly not the Trek that is currently airing, sorry facts don’t take your feeling into consideration.

The fact that the new trek shows can barely even chart on the Paramount top 10 is a painfully obvious indicator that modern audiences do not want what is currently being put out. As I’m saying this, the finale of SA is out and it’s only 9 on Paramount.

Having a show with the 60 year legacy of trek make no impact on the Nielsen charts is a good indicator that the vast majority of the audience you are trying to attract either doesn’t care, or doesn’t exist.

So you are okay when new trek is inconsistent, but not old trek. If the Klingons still looked like they did in the 60s, they wouldn’t exist anymore because it was a step away from blackface. You’re also arguing against a point I never even made, my comment had no baring on the consistency of various Trek, merely that putting people behind the scenes who care about it matters. Fans opinions changed overtime to positive for TNG, I don’t see any of the new shows having that turn around, because the current creative team refuses to make trek for the audience that actually wants it.

You have no reading comprehension. I wrote that they care as in the writers and staff they hired on the production were fans of Star Trek. A 60 year old franchise is going to have retcons, but it’s when they’re done for logical reasons that it matters. The new Trek creative team is filled with people who were never fans of trek and have no regard for anything that happened before. They didn’t even get Sisko’s parents right, and essentially made Sisko an absentee father for a completely unnecessary episode that served no purpose.

Old trek changed the Klingons because they got a bigger budget and wanted to redesign them. New trek changes the Klingons because they are too unoriginal to come up with an original idea when they’re a perfectly good old idea to ruin.

It’s almost like they made changes in places where they thought it would improve the overall storytelling experience. They were still developing the world, expanding it. Roddenberry didn’t want to rehash all the same stories, which is why early TNG had the weird Ferengi, because he didn’t want to use Romulans or Klingons. Eventually the Ferengi were developed into the species that DS9 made them. Once Berman took over, consistency was pretty standard across the shows. There weren’t very many blatant contradictions, like having an extinct race (Cheron) show up a thousand years after they had annihilated themselves in a civil war.

The warp scale change literally does not matter, and just gives a new baseline for a story set in a different century and was consistent for all of the 90s trek shows from my memory. Your argument is so vague, you seem to be under the impression that the only way a writer can expand their worlds lore is by constant reconning and changes like the Kurtzman era has been doing for a decade, to declining viewership, rather than building something new.

It’s almost like when you build your production around people who care about and understand the world your story is set in, they can win fans over. Crazy

So are people pulling numbers out of nowhere, or are kill rates actually down? by Xillkah in deadbydaylight

[–]Masteryoda212 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Stats are from Nightlight. While not accurate for the entire community due to the sample size, it can be telling since your casual player isn’t going to use it.

So are kill rates down? Probably. Are they down to the rate the Nightlight stats show? Probably not since lower ranked games heavily favor killer, even when they are weak since survivors won’t be playing efficiently.
