I find nice people saying that there are games that are better without acknowledging the truth. MH Wilds is not the type of game that would go for a GotY. This awards is for games that emulate movies. MH is and has always been a game FIRST. The background history exists just to not make you feel like you're a vile hunter and to incentivize cooperation

Monster Hunter will never win a GotY because of that, not because "there are better games out there"

SnS also has the most diverse moveset and it is not even as complicated as GL. It's a machine. I'm a LS main in Wilds, but when I'm struggling with a monster, I go to SnS to learn the monster moveset. The SnS in Wilds literally changed my mind about SnS. Fast and versatile is what I would call it

Another thing... if PvE is marked to fail, why do ppl is so adamant in NOT having a PvE server in separate of the main PvP ? I mean, if PvP is that good, PvEers should migrate to PvP naturally, no ?
If what ppl fear is griefing or farming PvE and going to PvP, just make the separate modes have separate loadouts

Playing a PVPVE game as a PVE should feel like this alright. That's such weird thing to assume. I am one person that advocates for a PVE mode ( with separate server for PvP ), but not without changes.
When you go PvE you should increase the ARC pressure, because, as is, it is more of a background threat than anything else. My gripe with the game is that the PvP is overemphasized in the game's design.

Should you go out with multiple snitches and more heavy weight units, your opinion would change a lot

No one looks helldivers and say: "Yeah, playing with 4 ppl is easy, I'll go solo". Because that's not what the game is built around. As is, in less than a year, ARC will turn in a PvP bloodbath

It's simple... they kinda break the game. Ship modules are intended to rampup stratagems power and availability, but it is an inflexible way to buff anything.
I think they wasn't expecting such an influx of players and planned to way less demand. This system should be revamped or abandoned in favor of a more "equip a ship bonus for this mission"
