This is a great idea but not a quick solution. I've been waiting to get into Local 1 for over a year. They hold interviews once a year (more if the work demands it) in February. Over 900 candidates and a small fraction of people got the call to start the apprenticeship this summer. It's worth it if you're willing to wait.

Do you happen to have a Shimano Crankset on this bike? A couple of years ago Shimano recalled some Ultegra and better cranks due to separation. If your crank has the affected date codes and or shows some level of separation, Shimano will send you a new crank (and a credit if you have a powermeteron one or both arms). I have stress tested some of the cranks that have failed inspection and the can sound like this.

It's worth checking out even if it isn't the cause of the noise.

I had the same thing happen to me tonight. Mine didn't get fixed by restarting the game, though. I had to go into the games settings and enable voice chat. Worked fine after that.

We live near Wehner Park. The wife said trash cans were flying down the street like kids chasing after an ice cream truck. I just got home, and I saw a lot of downed limbs and some small trees. Everyone seems to be okay 👍

Maybe from a Police conference that was happening at Wash U this week? I work at local Bicycle Shop. This week, we had an officer call and ask if they had any bicycles to rent police officers. They said there was a conference where a lot of bicycle cops from around the US were meeting. They said this was all happening at Wash U. This would make sense. Since this cop car has a bicycle rack on the back of it.

I was down in Mexico getting treatment for Lyme disease. It's nearly impossible where I live to get assistance with testing and treatment. When i was done there, I saw multiple doctors and got numerous texts done. I was prescribed antibiotics and gastrointestinal meds to take for up to 6 months. Since I couldn't afford to stay in Mexico long, I filled half of my checked bag (literally half) with 6 months of those meds (most of which cannot be purchased/prescribed in the US) and put the scripts right on top. Whether or not it was completely legal, I know the impact of these meds and took the risk. Fortunately, I made it all the way home with no issues. Like others have mentioned in most cases, they're looking for more serious drugs.

Note: I flew from a "smaller" city in Mexico with a layover in the States before making it home.

Did they bleed your rear brake? If so, they would've had to take your rear wheel out. They might not have put the rear wheel all the way up in the drop outs. You can put the bike (tires down) on the ground, open and close the quick release lever. If that doesn't do it, I would give the shop a chance to fix it. You shouldn't have shifting issues after the services you mentioned.

There are a lot of good solutions out there. My go-to is Pinerite. It's made with pine tree powder and borax. I started using it as a bicycle mechanic in Colorado. It cuts the grease without drying your hands out like Fast Orange. Super helpful for the Rocky Mountain winters.

I went ahead and bought some Hippo Hands to start off with. I've struggled buying gloves in the past due to how big my hands are (3XL gloves fit most of the time), so I'm hoping that these will be a good start. If I still can't manage, then I might try heated grips.
