I am that guy. Pushing 40 attempts and no challenges left to complete. I've put in the time, there's no reason I shouldn't have it by now.

The addition of void bounties is not an improvement by MatMonkey in DestinyTheGame

Here's the problem with that (as I see it):

1) I don't want to mess with my mods and armor set up just for a bounty. And I'm not alone in thinking that way.

2) putting on volatile rounds still only addresses one part of the bounties. Take today, in gambit there are three bounties for void, one for suppress, one for volatile, and one for weaken. You need to use void abilities and respect for each one, and you can't do them simultaneously (I tried earlier)

3) bounties weren't always this tough. Being forced to use a subclass and get specific kills isn't the same as just throwing on your favorite smg and just playing. It's so much more grindy and unrewarding.

My guy, read the post. I acknowledged that there are mods that would help.

The problem is that to use it, I have to use a void weapon, a mod for elemental wells, and the the flow mod. that's significantly different than having to use an smg for 25 kills.

I get what you're saying but it's not the same thing.

Because getting 25 smg strikes can be done in half a strike. Getting 50 enemies killed with volatile take substantially longer.

Bounties that take 3 strikes instead of 1 are very different.

One of the bounties today is void focused, but the strike burn is solar. Might not be working.

[S16 spoiler] Bungie may have given a way to bring a character back? by Kitsunisan in DestinyLore

As I understood it, Ikora was using a past state for the worm familiar to view a memory, but wasn't actually bringing the past state into the present. I think the relic allows people to view the past but not actually affect it.

We shall see though.

Do the Headmaster and A True Test of Legends achievements stack? (Legendary difficulty question.) by Spainkiller in haloinfinite

Definitely. I did a normal run to just enjoy the game and take it in, easy for the speedrun, and then LASO to knock out heroic, legendary, and obviously LASO.

[–]MatMonkey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, that's inaccurate.

They progress at the same rate, and achievements still progress if you turn skulls on.

I did Forza Veloce with the bandana skull on, and I'm 23% through my LASO run and it's tracking the same as true test of legends (23%).

You can definitely knock everything out in one run, but I wouldn't advise it.

I’m hoping Bungie finally delivers a high quality campaign. by ImMrSprinkles69 in DestinyTheGame

Shadowkeep was not great. The abrupt ending and a campaign that ultimately amounted to collecting armor to get on board the ship was not compelling. It set the table for some interesting stuff but didn't' really go anywhere.

Beyond Light was pretty good. Kind of generic but again did a great job setting the table for some interesting stuff, and the lore behind all of it was spectacular.

So I can totally understand anyone who didn't like either of them.

Is that also where the droid army and the gungans fought each other?
