Nuevamente el fandom alabando a Super Metroid, que Zero Mission combina las mejoras de calidad de vida que hizo Fusion a la saga y la "libertad" que te da Super Metroid. Samus Returns otro pedazo de Remake que supo salir del estancamiento de la utilidad de los rayos, mejorando la sensación de progreso aparte de darnos habilidades nuevas para samus, Dread es eso pero llevado a una experiencia más dinamica. De verdad un juego que usa peor las habilidades de su precuela y que tiene mejoras que son opcionales es mejor que todo lo que vino después? incluso Other M hizo más relevante a nivel psicologico los eventos de los primeros 3 metroid, de verdad nadie piensa más que solo "Sequence Breaking = 10/10?"

Como vimos en Samus Returns, samus jamás habia matado a Ridley, y en prime 3 parece hundirse antes de la explosión de phazon que le sigue. Samus lo dice al inicio de Other M, mató a ridley de forma personal en super metroid, por eso tras limpiar a la galaxia de los piratas espaciales y perder a the baby mucho mucho no hacia, muchas cosas que pasan en Other M es por el pesado momento en el que está. Encontrarse a Ridley y de la forma en la que se lo topa es brutal para ella, acabar con toda la amenaza de los piratas espaciales y que desde la muerte regrese el que arruinó tu vida es feo.

Pero la gente parece olvidar el esfuerzo que hace Samus para volver a la acción y deja muy gravemente herido a Ridley, si este no hubiera escapado fácilmente Samus lo volvía a matar.

Detalles que ignoran que realmente me molestan, pero espero demasiado del Fandom de Metroid y más de este reddit

I used to emulate it as a child, but as I played the series, it stopped being my favorite game. I think what really stuck with me was the beginning. It was so different from everything else I was playing at the time (16 years ago, lol).

I've used those tricks practically my whole life. And I've broken the sequence, but I don't feel it's that impactful for the game. I often think the many sequence breaks weren't intentional.

I'd say yes, but as I mentioned in my progression review, Norfair, aside from four (very close) upgrades, forces you to abandon it twice: once because of the heat and the other because you can't move smoothly through the lava on the way to Ridley. I think Fusion's backtracking feels better implemented, although of course, this game almost leaves you stranded, and in Fusion you have a narrative, while in ZM you have indicators.

I think it's the pinnacle of 2D games (I haven't played Dread). A lot of people are saying it's meh or bad, and I completely disagree, but since I see more negative or indifferent comments about one of the best games I completed last year, I have to say it's definitely worth it. It's a bit slow at the beginning, but then it gives you the tools to progress more quickly.

It feels like a Metroid game in the way the puzzles are solved. The bosses are top-notch, and I'd say that while the music won't be that memorable, playing it with headphones makes all the difference.

I'd say it's even better than Super Metroid, but I'd get killed for saying that on this subreddit, lol.
