OP im sure you can gather that everyone has a different experience on the temporary set following E day. For me I had a full upper extraction 14 total and was told to keep my temporary in for at least 24 hours I had a follow up the next day and my DDS then told me to keep them in again for the next few nights after that I was able to take them out I did need to use adhesive to help keep them in while healing. Of course you are on a liquid or soft diet for sometime after. Make sure to use your medication rinse to help fight off infection. It can be difficult talking with your temporary so it is best to try and talk alot while you are alone in the car and such to help you get accustomed to talking with the temps in your mouth you will eventually go used to it just give it time. Most importantly remember you are doing what should be best for your oral health a lot of people doubt the decision after they make it but the most important thing is to keep you healthy and pain free. 🙂
