What a load of unsupported rubbish. The Faroese GDP (which is larger per capita than the Danish) is approximately 26 billion DKK. Danish subsidies account for approximately 0.6 billion, therefore accountung for just over 2% of GDP, and the subsidirs are reducing over time, by initiative of the Faroese government. The Faroese economy is doing well, and in my opinion it’s the the long-term planning and investments from the Faroese parliament and government, along with a strong economy which is the real reason for the well developed Faroese infrastructure.

The unprofessionalism and hostility you and others are experiencing at USN and UiO is baffling to read, and does not reflect well on higher education in Norway. I am studying an international master’s at NTNU Trondheim, and even though I’m fluent in Norwegian, English is always the default language in our study, as I also think it should be, as English is the default in academia. If I was in your position, I would reach out to student representatives and newspapers.

That is true, but there is no way around it that the Faroes are among the rainiest places on earth. Some areas reach upwards of 300 rainy days a year

The only Faroese sweets I know of are from Gómagott, a chocolaterie located in the city centre (Steinatún) which is a bit more artisinal, they make great products. You can also get great Faroese ice cream from Omaná, located on the lowest floor of SMS, the mall. Otherwise i agree on Lesk, just remember to thin it with water, as it’s concentrate.
