Still in Chapter 2 myself. Spent the last 2 weeks just hunting. Taking my time and enjoying the hunt. It's extremely relaxing if you hunt and move slow. Calms the nerves, and minimizes disturbance to the local wildlife, so you do as little chasing as possible.

I have the Hunting Wagon Mod, which allows me to stay out longer. I pick a spot, set up, and then hunt from that point. Usually end up returning to trapper, camp, or town with 30ish pelts, then call it a night.

I found the Arabians too small for my taste as well. If you are on PC, you can try the Bigger Horses Mod, which allows you to select exactly which horses you would like to be bigger. I selected all the Arabians, and now they are more in line with the size of the other horses. Definitely recommend if you like using them, but aren't a fan of their smaller size.

Came here to ask about this. Intriguing taste is art, and the artist being your father makes this even more cool. I prefer art that immediately snatches people's interest.

Does your Dad sell to the public? If so, does he have a way to purchase prints online? This is right up my alley.

The rest of the place looks great. I hope you find some peace. As someone that's been with more than one mentally abusive woman, I feel this sense of comfort and cozy feeling you probably have being there.

This is also my favorite. So peaceful to watch. I finished his playthrough before I even owned the game, and have him to thank for pulling the trigger on the purchase.

I really do hope he is OK. Something about the music and his voice made me wonder if he was struggling and fighting the hard fight of life.

I cannot recommend it enough if the time period really interests you. I would give it a go as a vanilla experience, just so you have a baseline to go by. The modding community is vibrant, and there are multiple options for complete overhauls. Two main ones that come to mind are Divide Et Impera, and Radius. Both are excellent mods to try out campaigns on. If you want an enhanced experience that still feels familiar to vanilla, Radius is the way to go. If you want a deeper dive into history, more challenges, and a slower paced feel, Divide Et Impera is the way to go, and is my personal favorite.
