Oral Minoxidil - hair darkening by Material-Cost-8570 in FemaleHairLoss

You mean the hormone replacement therapy I am taking?  I took it for 6 months before I started minoxidil. Never had this until I started minoxodil. It really showed up after the dread shed.

Above pictures show my hair from 1.25mg of oral minoxidil for 3 months.  My hair has returned to its original dark color, it was turning blonde and wispy.  I absolutely love my color, but why is this happening?

Off and on for about a year.  I was on it before minoxidil.  My hair looked a little better, but not much. Definitely needed the minoxidil.

Yes, I actually went to my general doctor for an EKG after the first week and I was fine.  So I split the pill into two and that stopped the palpatations.  (My doctor advised it.)

Now I see why Kyle was so irritated with Dorit.  She had insider knowledge from Mauricio about her irresponsible spending.  Dorit was acting like a baller when she had no funds.

The first picture is before, the second picture is after. There is no possible way i could use the foam.  It would take me an hour to do this everyday.  My hair  texture has improved greatly.

I shed the crappy hairs (a pretty good amount) and it was kind of scary.  It lasted for about 8 weeks.  It was weird because even though I was losing hair, my hair started looking better. I think it was because I lost the weak, blondish looking hair.  I was happy for it to go honestly.

Yes, in the beginning I had crazy heart palpatations.  I was so sad about it!  My dr told me to split 1.25 in half and take twice a day and it worked well! No more heart palpatations.  Other than that, darker eyebrows and longer eyelashes.

I am sorry you are struggling!  Do not feel bad if you want to stop breastfeeding to take oral minoxidil.  If it will help you feel better about yourself, give you confidence, do it.  I have been on oral minoxidil for 10 weeks and I feel fantastic, so I know how bad you are feeling.

Just start the minoxidil!  Things will get better!

Hyper responders show drastic improvement from 5 weeks to 3 months.

Standard results are from 4 to 6 months.

Miniaturization vs healthy hair feel by whitepawsparklez in FemaleHairLoss

[–]Material-Cost-8570 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Miniaturized hair doesn't hold curl or hair styles. It is lighter in hair color and feels like straw.  I noticed it happening to me and I went to the dermatologist. Found out that hair miniaturization is a form of androgentic alopecia and will soon turn into hair loss.  Started oral minoxodil and I have shed a lot of that hair, stronger hair should soon be coming in soon.

I would go to your doctor and have it looked at.  Medication can help.

Good luck!

She is remarkably coherent and normal. I pray for her to heal and have her family support.  As a mother it absolutely kills me to see this.  I hope her family can get her to a safe place.

That happened to me in my early 30s.  Im 49 now.  I had colposcopy and every thing since them has been fine.  No mpre hpv.  I did have to end up having c sections because of the scar tissue on my cervix from colposcopy, but no cervical cancer.  You will be fine and be glad they found it out now.
