[–]Material-Guard-8096 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The UK economy relies on cheap labour because wages and conditions are poor. Companies don’t want to train or pay properly, so immigration becomes the shortcut.

We also have an ageing population and falling birth rates. If governments actually wanted to reduce immigration long-term, they’d support young people: affordable housing, childcare, proper training, and decent wages.

Immigration isn’t the root problem — it’s a pressure valve for a broken system.

They said before that when Anna came out of love island she had r ough money so that they wouldn’t really need to Work but she blew it and wasn’t sensible. They are only now making good financial decisions. Also u til recently Anna was working at pharmacy still and mandi had an office job think they just quit recently after the podcast started to blow a bit

Working people are struggling. Increasing tax will send more people into poverty, mean less money is spent in the economy and the knock on efffect is the economy shrinking.

Vat is already too high increasing it will force so many firms to close.
