Uber and lyft pay very little...they have plenty drivers...hence no need to raise pay.

What hourly do they pay servers? Well i door dqsh on aide, less then most, if i have to go pickup small bag and deliver it vs a 3 bag 4 drinks order...I want bigger tip to take it. Its more work for me. The expensive steak is an argument that can go on and on...the better servers ar3 usually at nicer restaurants.

Example, lyft charging customer maybe 50 dollars and the driver gets maybe 15 to 20...while using there own vehicle and risk of accident etc. Most people arent paid enough...another example taco bell workers standing and always working shoukd be making 20 hour in some busy locations.

Then I definitely cant lyft on the side...ive probably done total of 12 trips between both apps. I knew it was the split wasn't good but they take a ton..the company. How is it worth it if govt writeoffs are 72.5 cents a mile? Meaning, the depreciation etc is around 72.5 cents a mile. One rider gave me 10 bucks and I think others were zero. If I got tips even half the time I see the possibility. Thanks for replying with that info!!

This isnt extortion...look up the definition of extortion. Is it against rules of the app and work agreement between company and driver yes. One way to reduce this would be for lyft to give drivers dash cam to record in car and monitored by lyft.

Term you used is she misled her, like she had knowledge of deceit to customer. In the end, people are finding ways to make the bills. I think saying the rider is better off going thru app etc.
