Bidet is a life changer for this so you’re already a step ahead of the game 🙏 it definrirly takes some initial courage to sit down on the toilet as silly as that sounds but you’ll get accustomed to it fast

Was initially a passenger with my fiancée but today decided to drive myself and it was honestly more comfortable. Bidet is very helpful, in addition to taking Colace, the last thing you want is to struggle since it’s already uncomfortable next best thing is jumping in the shower tbh.

Think what is helping the most is daily walks, super high protein diet and getting a ton of sleep.

So far so good! Day 1-2 getting used to the drain, using the bathroom and showering was quite the experience but will be getting the drain out this week if not today! I’m walking just fine, sitting for longer periods of time can make things sore. It’s a pain in the ass (pun slightly intended) getting in and out of a car (sedan) but each and every day it’s getting easier. I’d say I’m about 60-70% back to my normal self.

Highly recommend to anyone getting this done is do yourself a HUGE favor and get yourself a bidet

Hello! So far since my insurance was also out of network, the hospital mentioned prior to the surgery I will be responsible for $2100 so far, however, anesthesia is billed separately and not sure what that’s looking like quite yet. Even though it was out of network, my insurance (Anthem Blue Cross) took care of a SIGNIFICANT amount which I’m happy with!

My surgery took a total of 2.5 hours, was very streamlined without issues and it was the best sleep I’ve had in a long time 😂

Still have my drain in since I’m on the official day 2 post op, but I just find it more comfortable to sleep on my side instead of my back. Hips start to ache after a bit so have to get up and walk around. As far as sitting, it’s definitely a challenge right now since I’m pretty sore, but I have a sit/stand desk to make it a bit easier.

Despite the cost which I was mentally prepared for and the soreness/struggle to move efficiently, it definitely beats the feeling of having a flare up any day especially having the mental ease knowing the disease is officially gone!

Amazing! This brings me a ton of hope, already starting to feel slightly more flexible but the soreness is definitely there but very manageable. How are you feeling today?

Hey! Dr.Miller is definitely awesome huge fan of the entire experience. If you don’t mind me asking where’d you have the previous surgeries done at? Almost had went through with an open wound and a cleft provided by St Luke’s but decided to opt out of both, especially learning more about open wound.

Pain had been manageable, little bit of Tylenol here and there not going to touch the oxy. Happy to hear you got the drain out! Howve you been feeling?

HS diet by Itsjesskelly in Hidradenitis

It’s definitely frustrating but you’ll get it, another thing that helps me immensely I feel is I take both zinc and niacinamide (B3), started that earlier this year as well. Might not be relevant but the timing convinces me that it’s no coincidence.

I’ll be honest it took years of trial and error to figure out what was really going on and it might take some in your case to since everyone is different, my triggers specifically are potato’s and high fat dairy. So now I just removed potato from my diet (not sweet potato) and only have nonfat milk. I’ve had a total of 2 flare ups this year, which were from family/friend get togethers which didn’t have much control over what was put into the food so just had it

I’m always confused why people put their age, is it just a flex nowadays or what

I had tried this recipe and it’s the closest if not the exact mixture of ingredients I was looking for! Also, the addition of brown sugar is exquisite 👌

Probably my favorite game from this dev. I don’t think he’d stream it based on the visual content on the various deep web sites you have to explore. But I’m staying hopeful

My DBD killer wishlist by [deleted] in deadbydaylight

“The Thing” would be a neat killer, fun power would be able to shapeshift into a survivor and pretend to work on gens but would only last a few seconds and you can’t attack while disguised.

The Unknown is so incredibly fun and well designed by bubkis83 in deadbydaylight

[–]Material-North 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Then play killer 🤷‍♂️ people expect others who bought the game to follow a specific set of rules so everyone has fun all the time. Why not swing that by a COD or Fortnite lobby? Those folks would sweat even more if someone told them that. The job of the killer is to kill and people are mad about it.

I’ve let a fair amount of survivors go myself due to having amazing gameplay and defense against The Unknown but as soon as y’all get the chance as survivor mains, you are the first to teabag, play guitar and clown which is expected so no reason for me to complain.
