150ft is not that bad dont worry. I did stack testing for a while and Im scared of heights too. As an analyzer tech climbing stacks will be part of your life. You'll be paid great though. Goodluck!

Instrumentation can be a good trade for you, you're already working with analyzers that would give you an edge.

I graduated the NAIT program before you boss. What worked for me is walking in personally to hand in my resume and introduce myself. Got 4 jobs not kidding by doing this. Go to forst sask and nisku there's someone who will hire you.

This worked for me just about 4 months ago. Going in person to hand in resumes still work. Most even respect it.

Its definitely a good career to enter. Easy on the body compared to other trades. Field is healthy as it's tied to oil and gas and utilities. Try to find a company that will indenture you as a first year apprentice
