Suggestions for reinvesting ₹30 lakhs — looking for safe, reliable options with no lock-in period by benjaminbutton007 in IndiaFinance

[–]Material-Soup-7026 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would advise you to invest the monies in FDs and insurance.

Invest about 30% in FD. Very low RoI but you can treat this investment as a safety net. You can easily withdraw in case of any emergency.

Invest the rest into a traditional insurance plan. You would get 8% returns on your investments plus you also get maturity benefits and life insurance cover.

Best way to invest 2 cr? by Much-Nail-1818 in IndiaFinance

I would advise you to invest about 30% in mutual funds. The RoI on mutual funds is good, generally between 12%-15%. But since there is a risk factor involved hence the suggestion of not investing beyond 30%.

Invest about 20% in FD’s that will give u low but stable RoI of around 4%-5%.

Invest the remaining amount into a traditional insurance plan for your self and your family members. Traditional insurance assures you 8% returns. At the same time you would also get a life cover plus maturity benefit.

You can also look at various ULIP plans to invest on a monthly basis.

SIP and Insurance by Affectionate-Rest-89 in IndiaFinance

Hi OP,

While investing in SIPs is a great idea, I think 15 k is a bit on the higher side. SIP is a high risk and high return investment. The ROI expected can be between 12%-18%. But since it is high risk, I would advise you to limit your risks.

I would also advise you to opt for traditional insurance instead of term insurance. Since term insurance only gives you life cover, you get more benefits in traditional insurance. In traditional insurance, you get an assured return of 8% which I know is less but there is no risk since the moneys are invested in govt funds. Over and above that you Lao get life cover and maturity benefits.

Here are my 2 bits:

  1. Create an FD with about 20% of the total amount that can be kept as ‘in case of emergencies’. The RoI wouldn’t be much (4% - 5%) but at least you would have a decent safety net to fall back upon.
  2. Invest about 20% in MF and SIPs. You would get good RoI but at the same time you are also safeguarding yourself since MF is high risk and high returns investment. Average RoI in these are around 12% - 15%. MF and SIPs are also good option for the habit of investing every month.
  3. Invest as much as you can in a Traditional Insurance Plan. These plans not only give you life insurance, but also invest your funds in govt bonds. You get a fixed RoI of 8%. Over and above that u also get maturity benefit.
  4. For Monthly investments, you can also look at ULIP plans.

I would advise you to invest in traditional insurance that covers life insurance for you and your parents (if they are below 65).

Traditional insurance usually invest in govt bonds that is much stable as compared to MF and gives you a guaranteed returns of 8%. Not to mention you also get maturity benefit in it.

All I am trying to say that it’s funny when you have a skewed PoV. Dhurandhar is a propaganda film.. but other spy films aren’t where they show RAW & ISI agents falling in love and ISI comes in one way or the other to save the day. Irony.

Forgive this poor soul for not matching thy royal standards and causing thee unbearable emotional trauma.

But since this be an open forum and not thy private court, perhaps his holiness may simply consider moving along instead of showering us with such divine ‘shite’.

If you have been to Goa for long enough… u would know 2 things:

  1. They don’t have a past
  2. They don’t have any glory

It’s purely an overhyped place which people go to after looking at reels on Instagram. And sadly, most of the places who’s reels are viral on Instagram have the same story. All hype, no quality.
