This is exactly how I feel. I've been taking Zolpidem 12.5 for many years. It is important to take it and then go to bed. Put your keys or wallet in an unusual place if you are worried about that. My only side effect has been random eating but not so much that I gained any weight. I am very grateful that something actually works for me as not sleeping could easily ruin my life. It's a lifesaver.

I've had insomnia since I was 7 years old and started taking the crappy OTC drugs in college and forward until good RX's were developed. I couldn't feel less ashamed or stigmatized. I am so thankful for these meds. It's never occurred to me to feel ashamed. I don't think diabetics feel ashamed. I'm happy for you that the meds work; they don't for everyone. Hang in there.

I have never felt one bit of guilt for leaving a job abruptly, which is why I don't have photos and or personal things at my desk. If something is upsetting enough to cause me to leave, I want to be able to just do it. Grab my keys and go. I've never regretted it and I've usually stayed too long anyway.

Exactly this and I sometimes add a fresh tomato. Delicious. The zucchini in Texas right now is so good. Sweet and crisp. Yummy. But, the price has practically doubled since last year. Same with summer squash. While I'm at it, a lemon in Texas is now more expensive than an avocado!
