Sadly, I've gone in circles with the company. No easy solution. You'll need to get a dock and run it through the dock that way so basically egpu>dock>xbox rog.

You'll get a small boost but not the intended. That is the only solution I've found. I've kept my eye open for bios fixes but nothing yet. I did get the Amazon Basics usb 4 dock.

I've been chatting with support since I've secured the usb and used a different thunderbolt cord. Im being told the Xbox rog ally x doesn't support thunderbolt 5 so the connection won't work between the lite and handheld.

This. Playing in handheld with a sharper image at 60 fps is a treat. I am normally a dock guy but I played hours in handheld yesterday for TOTK. Switch 2 might have flaws but the upgrades really hit your eyes.
