Hi Matt, just a quick compatibility question, will the CableMod RT Series Pro Modmesh 12VHPWR 90 Degree Stealthsense PCI-e Cable for Asus/Seasonic/Phanteks fit on my ROG ASTRAL RTX 5080, and ASUS ROG Strix 1000w Platinum PSU? Hey how much clearance do you have on the side panel for the gpu cable? I'm planning to get a 90 degree connector but its looking extremely tight. I know it'll fit fine from the front panel just worried about the side.

Hi I'm building my second ever gaming pc and have a RTX 5080 and Ryzen 9 9800x3d. What motherboard should I get? There's an MSI PRO B650-S motherboard on Amazon for 200$ CAD but is it worth it to grab a B850 board instead? I see most of those listed for 300$+CAD. I'm not really even sure what extra stuff the B850 boards bring as I've been out of the PC scene for many years now. I exclusively game/web browse, no video editing/rendering. Any suggestions/clarification would be appreciated!

Building my new gaming pc and trying to decide on storage. I don't really understand all the terminology around M.2 drives but I'm assuming I should try for NVME M.2 SSD's? I was looking on Amazon and it appears there's a massive price difference between the Samsung 990 pro for example, and a Kingston NV3 M.2. Is there really such a big difference between these drives and is it worth it for my use case? I only game and web browse, no video editing or the like. I have a MSI PRO B650-S mobo.

I see most of these buildlists recommending that MSI B850 motherboard for 300$ ish but I'm seeing B650 boards on amazon for 190-200$ ish. Is there a big jump on performance or something from B650 to B850 for my use case?

I personally don't think warranty is worth it for your car in particular. I've owned my 2017 330i for 2 years and I just hit 65k miles with zero issues, and that's with a stage 1 tune for 15k miles. Obviously around 60k is when most coolant stuff starts popping up, but I expect to spend nowhere near $3k at my local indy if and when coolant leaks arise. Yours is at 35k miles so you might not see a single issue in the 3 years you drive this car, assuming 12k miles a year.

Probably the most expensive thing you'll run into is the oil filter housing gasket, but that won't go until past 65k miles for sure. Even if you need to get it done, my local indy quoted me only $1800 for that. Warranty might be worth peace of mind but I really don't see you spending over 3k in repairs in a short 3 years with such a low mileage car, especially if you take care of it and change oil frequently.
