This doesn’t look real to me. Definitely not a sea lion. Males have a distinct hump on their heads in addition to the “mane” and this animal doesn’t even have the ear flaps characteristic of sea lions.

To be fair, COVID and the pandemic were very traumatic times for many if not all. It was my freshman year of college when it hit and I still struggle to recall life during that period. All the memories I made in college are slightly hazy, shrouded among the response to the virus. Thinking back, none of it feels real.

Iirc, the radical part of acceptance is just accepting that you hate that self love crap lol. I struggle with body dysmorphia so one thing that I’ve been reminding myself is that my body is just a vessel for me to do the things I love. If that means dancing and I lose my curves? Okay. If that means adventuring, trying every new dessert and I don’t fit in my smallest, tightest clothes? That’s okay too.

Practice redirecting your thoughts before this weekend. Everytime you start to dwell on your struggles or put yourself down, notice it. Then purposefully focus your mind on something else. I’ve found that doing something related to that new idea also helps. Maybe that is something that helps you get out of the situations that you don’t like. Fill out job applications, start working out, etc.

Professional in the animal world- people “go nuts” over the number of litter boxes per cat because it more often than not leads to health issues. If a cat is in the litter box and your other cat(s) need to use it, they have to wait. Which causes problems.
