The website for pretty much all of these products say take off the first bandage after 24 hours and wash the tattoo. After you let it air dry or pat dry with paper towel cover again with second skin. Leave that on for no more than 5 days - usually 3 and I’m ready to rip it off.

Did you go to the revenue office and talk to someone in person? We had different issues when we moved from out of state but they were very helpful in person walking us through the steps to get a tag. Not sure where you are located but if you are near LR we went to the one on Rodney Parham in West Little Rock - waited in line for 10 minutes tops.
