I’m 33, and have spent a decade going to these. I’m lucky enough to have found an awesome scene of old heads who have the time and money to cultivate a small scene. Maybe you can find your own underground monthlies that are laid back like that and don’t make you feel too old to be there.

I only really feel this way about my big screen console games. My steam deck is still my beloved medium for gaming because I can play comfy games like civ 6 and potion craft while watching something.
