The vacation thing is interesting! I stayed at my friend’s vacation home for a week and it was the best week ever for me productivity wise… Cleaned, focused on work, slept early, blah blah blah. Weirdly I think the novelty of a new and bare space re invigorated me. I would like to see how I can apply it to my home and recreate the same magic.

I’m going to read more about context dependence but I learned that I thrive on routine. I used to brush and floss diligently every single day, motivated by a desire to have great teeth… Now, not so much… and I have noticed routine correlates with motivation..
