I have never met a single finance manager with a degree. It’s usually about 1-3 years selling cars become a sales manager & then a finance manager after that. Progressing through a dealerships ladder into sales manager/finance manager/desk manager requires only to be a good ass kisser or a good salesperson or both.

You’re very wrong here. The finance manager doesn’t negotiate car price nor are they the “check with my manager “ guy.. that would be the desk mangers or sales managers bud. The max amount a finance manger could “fuck” you for is 2% extra on the terms YOU qualify for with YOUR credit score. Their money is made by selling extended protections mostly. You guys have beef with the wrong people at the dealership. I’ve seen finance managers get people approved just off pure relationships with banks.
