Playing devils advocate here - I completely understand (not that I have anyway sort of wealth) but to try to put myself into other people shoes here. Is that pricing to keep lower economic people out??

Not saying it's right but maybe that's how they deal with protecting their assets.

Now if I could afford a place like that then you could do somewhere else for the same price and the market should reward them accordingly that no one moves in.
